Etrata phasing, flicker, and bounce. Make copies, double triggers, and win with Etrata attack triggers all while getting value from EtB and LtB creatures.

It’s ironic, Etrata, the Silencer exiles creatures, but only cares about CARDS in exile with hit counters. Therefore, we just need non-token things to be creatures when her triggered ability goes off for her to do work:

Kormus Bell + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth All lands are 1/1 creatures and potential targets for Etrata, the Silencer.

This is Etrata’s challenging caveat to her powerful effect, if you don’t remove her from being targeted by her ability on the stack (or Disallow ), you either shuffle her into your deck or have to pay more command tax.

Repeatable effects: bounce Crystal Shard , flicker Deadeye Navigator , and phasing Teferi's Veil

One time effects and Isochron Scepter targets, phasing Slip Out the Back , flicker Essence Flux , and bounce Curfew

Let's face it, 1 counter per turn, per opponent, just isn't good enough. Here are some ways to pick up the pace and to even hit multiple opponents at once:

Attack trigger doublers: Strionic Resonator and Lithoform Engine (2 hit counters, one opponent)

Double Strike: Fireshrieker (2 hit counters, one opponent)

Clone: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces (Combo piece and 2 hit counters one opponent, or 1 on each of two opponents)

Alternate hit counter generators: Mari, the Killing Quill and Ravenloft Adventurer

2 hit counters on each opponent combo:

With Mirror Box and/or Sakashima of a Thousand Faces on the field, Etrata, the Silencer (Copied version of Etrata using Spark Double does not require Sakashima or Mirror Box) equipped with Blade of Selves attacks. Then, activate Strionic Resonator targeting the Blade of Selves trigger on the stack and boom, each opponent gets hit by 2 Etrata, the Silencer exiling two creatures with hit counters. Use this setup especially when you have at least 1 hit counter card per opponent.

We might as well be getting value out of all those flicker and bounce effects that we need to run to make Etrata work. Feel free to mix and match your favorites, though keeping card draw ones is probably a good idea.

Draw Baleful Strix , Mulldrifter , etc. (Just value!)

Untap Peregrine Drake (Potential big mana swing, especially if you have multiple effects that flicker)

Kill Shriekmaw (Use sparingly or when you have Mauri/Ravenloft out. As a rule, we would rather have Etrata exile stuff for the hit counters)

Card advantage Gonti, Lord of Luxury (Like card draw, but you also take other people's stuff from them too!)

Etrata is unblockable, so why not have some spicey combat damage/attack trigger effects. The ninja subtheme is also nice and synergistic with some of these effects.

Quietus Spike

Bident of Thassa

ETC.

While I am not trying to make this the most consistent and competitive deck (Also the commander is Etrata...), the strategy requires some specific cards to really shine so we need ways to find them.

Artifact Fabricate

Anything Demonic Tutor

Transmute cards like Muddle the Mixture (For finding specific pieces e.g. Strionic Resonator , bounce/flicker/phasing effects, etc.)

Additional Tutors: instant/sorc Mystical Tutor, Any Vampiric Tutor , etc. (Same reason as transmute cards, though transmute has some interesting potential with their normal cast abilities)

Doomsday combo using Thassa's Oracle or to assemble the 2 counter per opponent combo with Blade of Selves , Strionic Resonator , and Mirror Box .

Infinite mana with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal (Dramatic Reversal not currently in the deck and it really isn't that compelling to win games with such an easy/solved combo)

Ninja stuff Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow (Might be good to have additional support for the ninjas already in the deck and as a piece of card draw/smackdown with her ability)

Fast mana Jeweled Lotus , etc. (Because turn 1 Etrata capabilities)

Turn a commander/Token into a valid Etrata target Reality Shift

Have fun and assassinate some fools. Open to suggestions!
