Divine Favor, add it in. It is a great card for life gain, and if you can, try to get a Heliod, God of the Sun

Divine Favor would replace Chosen by Heliod if I were to add it in. I like having the card draw more than I like having the lifegain. I don't see how Heliod, God of the Sun is worth having in this deck. Can you go into more detail about why I need Heliod?

Heliod, God of the Sun is good because he gives your creatures vigilance, and can create little creatures if necessary, and vigilance is something that can save your life and win a game. I have made a white life gain deck and he helped me win several games. Also, because it is mana-white it may be worth adding Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and I know you said you don't want suggesting planeswalkers but Ajani Steadfast is great for only $18, it can give a creature a boost and lifelink.

Ajani Steadfast is $10 right now. I wasn't expecting that.

I absolutely love this deck, my only question would be what you do when your opponent starts dropping Stormbreath Dragon - or is it that you intend to outrun them with life total / damage output?

Thanks, DukeSteele! The measly 4 damage that Stormbreath Dragon does is no match for my lifegain. It's not uncommon for me to gain 20-30 life in one game.

DukeSteele, what do you think about me centering this deck around Fabled Hero instead of Ajani's Pridemate? From doing playtests I've found that Fabled Hero is the card that always ends the game. While Ajani's Pridemate has been a nice support card. By centering this deck around Fabled Hero, I would remove 4 Nyx-Fleece Ram and put in 1 more Fabled Hero, 1 more Chosen by Heliod, and 2 Defiant Strikes.

With your aura spells have you thought of Hero of Iroas to drop their casting cost. Plus its a decent 2drop.

I have thought of it. However, I don't know what I would substitute it with. Any thoughts on that?

Maybe -1Ajani's Pridemate, -1Seeker of the Way +2Hero of Iroas. At least to test his synergy.
