Most of these are cards I've considered for this deck. I had Teferi, Temporal Archmage in my list, but I had to cut some planeswalkers because they cost too much to make them work well in this deck. He's a good card, but I found myself dead too many times holding 4+CMC cards in my hand.
I do like the idea of Hokori, Dust Drinker, and I think he would be more valuable than Loxodon Gatekeeper in locking my opponents out of the game. Auras like Steel of the Godhead are nice (I run this particular one in my casual Daxos of Meletis deck), but I think I'd rather run more wrath effects and maybe Sunder for more land hate.
Cuts are difficult...

I guess our decks take stax in different directions then. My take on the build isn't just on locking down the board. It also focuses on untapping my own permanents so I can amass a boardstate much faster than my opponents (hence Teferi) while also tapping down my opponents stuff with locks in play (hence Opposition). That's why I can run cards with larger converted mana costs. I guess the cards wouldn't work as well for your deck which focuses more on counter spells and ETB effects.
Out of the auras, at least Traveler's Cloak should be in here. He gets you draws while guaranteeing your commander to be unblockable against any deck (the more expensive the opponent, the more likely you can islandwalk their Volcanic Island). Then again, if you play multiplayer games there should be at least one person without a flying or reach creature so it might not even be a problem. I like the draw, though. Brago loves card advantage.

I may re-evaluate my strategy. I used to run Grand Arbiter as my general, and when I switched to Brago, I asked for some advice on reddit. The advice I got was to lower my CMC. I used to run five planeswalkers with Grand Arbiter as general, including Teferi and the new Jace. Of course, some users were also confused about why I would run Clever Impersonator and Phyrexian Metamorph, so I should take it with a grain of salt.
Traveler's Cloak does seem useful as if nothing else, I'm drawing cards. The worst feeling I have when playing this deck is getting mana flooded and not drawing into the cards I need. I'm thinking of adding Scroll Rack or Crystal Ball to my decklist to help with this.

Lanzo493 I've used some of your suggestions and made some other changes to my deck as well. It seems to work much better now that I've somewhat re-evaluated my strategy. I'm also thinking about cutting Mystic Speculation for Aqueous Form, although it's a tough decision because I've found that scrying is very important in this deck.

i have a brago build ive been tooling around with for over a year now if you want to check it out my main foucus is to play possum and slow out the game with out makeing my self a target untill its to late for them to deal with it, on the heavy use planeswlaker side i would highly recomend the elspeth that has the destroy all power 4 and greater very very usefull in shutting down large oponents.

mrhappykoch Nice deck. It's interesting how many different ways there are to build around Brago.

Azorious Guildmage stops those pesky activated abilities, should any hit the table

Deadeye Navigator and a previously mentioned Peregrine Drake for infinite mana and flicker for all your non-land permanents.

I'm just not convinced either is explosive enough to be worth a 5-6 drop in this deck, especially not Peregrine Drake. I previously had Cloud of Faeries to untap lands, but with the low average CMC of this deck, once I have my mana rocks in play, I don't need lands. I'm leaning toward adding more tax effects like Trinisphere and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to minimize counters and protect my general.

rob_shifflett Love it! Might be a good alternative to Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite

Altar of the Brood is a quicker and safer way to win the game with the infinite combo between Brago, King Eternal and Strionic Resonator.
About Cloudform + Lightform they're worth it. Don't worry about Stasis or any of that. You'll flat out win the game if you get one of those manifest enchantments with Strionic Resonator going infinite.
Manifest pretty much the whole deck until you find Archaeomancer and any combination of counterspells you feel you might need to avoid a board wipe at all costs;
Then you blink all manifested permanents you NEED in play, and leave the others manifested. Blink all the counterspells, let them go to the graveyard and blink Archaeomancer to get them back to your hand. Keep mana up for them, even if you need to blink some manifested lands.
Survive the turn, countering any board wipe or effect that prevents you from swinging with everything next turn and GG.
I went through that explanation in my deck tech, so check it out and see what other options you might have to consider to win the game going infinite with the Resonator. Speaking of which, Oblivion Ring is an additional hit that works with the infinite combo.

My Brago deck is more of an aggressor while your is more of a stax deck, but they have the infinite combo and some of the same weaknesses in common, so have a look and I hope I've been able to help somehow ;) +1 given.

I have a Brago deck of my own called Blink and you're Dead, so I'll give you suggestions based on my experience.
Pentarch Ward, Traveler's Cloak and Steel of the Godhead are all great enchantments for Brago. They make him unblockable so he can actually deal combat damage. The first two are especially good because they draw you cards while the last enchantment is just powerful. Heliod's Pilgrim becomes pretty good if you have a lot of good auras. He can even search up Reality Acid which is another strong aura to run. Sword of Feast and Famine is another good card for Brago because it gives protection, sometimes makes him unblockable, and (most importantly) untaps your lands.
Speaking of untapping, that's pretty important for a deck that likes to remove that right. Teferi, Temporal Archmage is especially good at it, being a draw source as well. He can untap 8 peramanents a turn (before and after being blinked). Parallax Tide and Peregrine Drake can also serve to untap your lands. Have enough of these guys and you have mana while everybody else is perpetually tapped out.
But what use is having stuff to untap your lands if you don't yet have a Stasis effect in play? Rising Waters, Meekstone, and Hokori, Dust Drinker are more lock effects you can add to your deck.
There's some other good cards too. Opposition comes to mind because you can just blink your creatures to untap them anyway. Frozen AEther, Kismet, and Thalia, Heretic Cathar can tap your opponents down. A fun card to tap your opponent's down (in my opinion) is Drowner of Hope because he also works well with Opposition and infinite blinking in addition to making mana.
Parallax Wave, Darksteel Mutation and Imprisoned in the Moon make for some good removal that can always shift targets with Brago.
Well, those are my thoughts on running a Brago deck. I know I suggested a ton of cards, but that's because I'm pretty sure you'll like quite a few of them. Good luck building!
