@Soulsoar11I had actually taken out Plummet for Leafcrown Dryad due to it surviving board wipe. But I well try running the deck with Plummet to see if it works better.
@Jrjersey01I will check it out and see what I think.

@redben346I had Armada Wurm in the deck at one point but it was to slow and inconsistent. The horse gives me little tokens but I'd rather play larger tokens. And worldspine cost too much for the deck.

if your primary is tokens/populate why not run something like Growing Ranks ?
December 28, 2013 8:07 a.m.
I was looking for a place for this card because it makes a steady population and also can't be killed like a creature. Any suggestions on what to take out for it?

i think the first thing that would probably come out for it is one trostani.
December 28, 2013 12:55 p.m.
@fistflurry Normally I would agree with you but she is nearly essential to the deck, being that she can populate for 3 and provides mass life gain that can be used for Archangel of Thune . I could test with one less though I do not know what the result will be. Also I only have 2 Growing Ranks and I would want both of them in the deck. Any other ideas of what to take out? Maybe a Call of the Conclave (though they are artist signed and I like them lol)

difficult decision but maybe 1 selesnya charm and 1 trostani? thats the only thing i can think of, or maybe 1 Ready // willing. i think call of the conclave is too good for early game to take any out. and helps the deck become a threat by turn 2. taking anything else out might hurt the deck more than help

Have you thought about Collective Blessing ? Maybe on the sideboard against lots of creature removal. Archangel of Thune is probably strictly better, but is also much easier to deal with.

I tried play testing this deck against my orzhov all over deck. yours did well, it got to ten creatures, 3 of which were elementals with " this creatures power and toughness are equal to the number of creatures you control." I tried making the best moves for you, but with just my 3 creatures, I beat your 10. my creatures were blood baron of vizkopa, Erebos, and a hundred handed one, non-monstrous. I had a whip of erebos and sanguine bond in the end.

My best defense that I have against the Blood Baron of Vizkopa is my Advent of the Wurm . Also could I get a deck list of the deck that you had used so that I can play test and see, because it sounds like I have a friend that runs a similar deck and I have never had trouble with it so I want to check out what the deck is made of.
I have also ran Collective Blessing in the end it cost too much for the use in the deck. I also would have trouble taking things back out to put it in. If you had any suggestions I would be willing to try.

In my experience, Growing Ranks is too slow. Also, 4x Trostani is pretty heavy even if it is a removal magnet. You might consider mixing in some Scion of Vitu-Ghazi
which can be absolutely brutal if you have something nice to populate.
Also, Rootborn Defenses is almost always better here than Ready / Willing unless you're able to cast Willing with a Caryatid, so you could just go with 4 Rootborn Defenses for more consistency.
Wayfaring Temple isn't that great ever since Rancor cycled out. Loxodon Smiter or Fleecemane Lion are definite upgrades. Boon Satyr is another solid 3-drop that can act as a kill spell, help against control, which is the weak matchup for this kind of deck, and make a mean Bestow for Archangel of Thune.
Finally, you probably want a little more land, especially since you have 3 Groves. I'd cut the Into the Wilds and replace them with basic lands, especially since your curve tops out at 5.
Here's my Selesnya brew- Selesnya Super-Dorks

I agree that Growing Ranks is too slow for one on one matches. I do not know about Scion of Vitu-Ghazi because he has a high cost. The 4x Trostani, Selesnya's Voice tends to work nicely in the deck, even when there is no removal. It is nice to be able to player her every game.
I personally enjoy Ready / Willing more than Rootborn Defenses partially because I can cast willing. Also I get a lot of use from the untap ability and it works wonders against other aggro decks.
I wanted to try taking out Wayfaring Temple to try running Ajani, Caller of the Pride . At one point I had Loxodon Smiter in the deck but his 4/4 for 3 was not becoming useful as often as I would like. I would love to put in Boon Satyr but I currently have none.
The Into the Wilds tend to help late game by allowing me to have less land draws that keep me from doing anything. But I was thinking about either dropping them for mana. Or dropping Growing Ranks for some extra mana.
Thoughts?
