Everything is Brothers Yamazaki

Commander / EDH*

SorinWings

The sequencing of this deck basically goes:

  1. Tutor for Hermit Druid as early as possible.
  2. Play Hermit Druid, activate on next turn (or the same turn if you have Hall of the Bandit Lord).
  3. Put Narcomoeba into play from milling, play land for the turn triggering Bloodghast landfall.
  4. Sacrifice Hermit Druid, Narcomoeba, and Bloodghast to Dread Return.
  5. Return Angel of Glory's Rise to play, getting Brother's Yamazaki, Wild Cantor, Priest of Gix, Priest of Urabrask, Grand Abolisher (locking out their ability to play spells or abilities during yoru turn), etc.
  6. Use two black mana from Priest of Gix and three red mana from Priest of Urabrask to activate Past in Flames flashback.
  7. Flashback Songs of the Damned with your remaining black mana from Priest of Gix (adding ~15-16 black mana), Cabal Ritual, Dark Ritual.
  8. Sacrifice Wild Cantor for a white mana, use 9 of your floating black mana to flashback Rise of the Dark Realms bringing back all your other creatures (and all your opponent's creatures), including Composite Golem, Wild Cantor, etc.
  9. Sacrifice Composite Golem for pentacolor mana, use floating white from Wild Cantor and the additional pentacolor mana to flashback Open the Vaults, returning Mirror Gallery, Infinite Reflection, Darksteel Forge, and Mycosynth Lattice (and a bunch of mana artifacts).
  10. Attach Infinite Reflection to Brother's Yamazaki, giving you a huge army of hasty, indestructible artifact samurai that each pump each other +2/+2. You can also flashback Titanic Ultimatum to make them even more impressive.
  11. Alpha strike more players than the game has room for.

That being said, the deck uses Scion of the Ur-Dragon as the commander to provide an alternate win condition, the possibility of playing a more fair game, or mislead your opponents, depending on the situation and how much you like the people you are playing with. There are cute little interactions like Mycosynth Lattice + Scion copying Hoard-Smelter Dragon to destroy a permanent and pump for more commander damage, Mycosynth Lattice + Scion for Hellkite Tyrant to steal permanents from an opponent, Scion for Dragon Tyrant and hit big, Scion for Crosis, the Purger to disarm an opponent, etc.

There are a lot of built in redundancies and contingencies in case things go awry (such as Memory's Journey in case you don't have a land in your hand to trigger Bloodghast the turn you activate Hermit Druid or in case your opponent tries to make you draw when you have no cards in your library). There is also a weakness to countermagic which makes the deck more fair.
