You do know that Scavenging Ooze isn't modern legal right? I can't believe I'm the only one to have noticed....

At the top the deck says its standard, but you have loads of cards not in standard. Then you talk about modern, but you run Scavenging Ooze which isn't in modern. You need to change your deck or its clasification.
But its a cool looking deck though.

Changed to modern. Squee is awesome for this deck. If it's possible to be getting 4 counters on Lotleth Troll a turn, then yeah, I'll keep 4x squee.

Just trade out the Scavenging Ooze for Deathrite Shaman if you own this deck irl you should be able to trade one for a play set of shamans.

Deathrite Shaman isn't that good if you aren't running fetches.

I would play Life from the Loam over Mulch if you have it in your hand you can cast it with no targets and then dredge it the next turn it feeds your Deathrite Shaman 's abilities and is just better.

Yes in your case though you would want Verdant Catacombs 's over any other after that just pick what red you want.

Yea, fetches are pretty necessary here. You won't always draw Grisly Salvage , and if you're playing against a monocolored opponent Tarmogoyf will be that much weaker and Deathrite Shaman might not have any food. Plus, they fix your mana, able to fetch the ravnica shocks as well as basics if necessary. At least 4 Verdant Catacombs ? Anyways, I really like the deck. It can consistently kill by turn 4 or 5, as well as having a bit of a late game. +1

4x Verdant Catacombs are in. Thanks for the comments and +1's guys!

Life from the Loam seems a bit slow to me. While Mulch can immediately get creatures into the grave, for Life from the Loam you have to wait a turn while doing nothing in the process (3 lands doesn't do much in an aggro deck).

Yeah I would agree, Life from the Loam seems much less efficient than Mulch
