The purpose of this deck is to get big value by flickering your "evoke" creatures. Most of the creatures in this deck are used to delay your opponent's board state, targeting Subtlety, Solitude, or Reflector Mage with (ideally) Ephemerate, or Cloudshift or Momentary Blink.

Other instances of control are just my preferences: Force of WillGC, and Karakas in case of a recurred legendary creature, probably Atraxa, Grand Unifier, and a Maze of Ith in case there's trouble with board control.

The win conditions in this deck are simple, swing with the flyers that you evoke-flickered in, or with Geist of Saint Traft, or Soulherder equipped with a Steel of the Godhead.
