Maybeboard

Creature (1)

Description of the shelf format: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/new-format-idea-stadern-or-modard/

Shelf is a format I would love to see become popular. Basically, decks are made of cards from 2 adjacent blocks that were once in standard together. Evolve is one of my favorite mechanics in magic, and Gatecrash is my favorite sets.

The deck doesn't really have a specific way it's supposed to play, the cards I play seem to vary more from game to game than most of my other decks.

Cloudfin Raptor and Experiment One are good turn one drops.

Renegade Krasis is good for generating twice as many counters on my creatures when I drop a big creature.

Elusive Krasis is good for when I have a hard time getting through their blockers.

Vorel of the Hull Clade is arguably the centerpiece of the deck. The counters can get out of hand quick if this goes unanswered.

Bioshift is usually only played at instant speed. Theres nothing more satisfying than watching an opponent use a kill spell on your strongest creature, only to transfer all the counters to a different creature. It can also be used when your weakest creature is the only one that goes unblocked.

Kalonian Hydra is good for lategame, pumping your creatures more and more each turn.

There's also a lot of counters and stall, because sometimes if your board gets messed up when you've already put most of your hand down, it can take a while to build it back up.

Feedback is appreciated.
