This deck is designed to incrementally gain life and then use our inflated life total in the late game to one-shot our opponents with a variety of life-matters win conditions + evasion. If you like to go from durdle to DOOM in one turn, then you might enjoy this janky little build.

Early game is spent controlling your board, building up your life total, and just generally durdling behind protective tax effects.

Mid game focuses on maximizing value with combos or effects like:

• Well of Lost Dreams+Alhammarret's Archive+Venser's Journal, etc. for massive draw

• recursion via Reveillark, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Sun Titan, etc.

Hopefully the value grind that is the mid game set you up for the late game, allowing you to go off and one shot one or more opponents with:

• Evra, Halcyon Witness, Sunscorch Regent + protection (indestructible/hexproof) + evasion (protection from creatures/color, trample, flying)

• a super-charged Aetherflux Reservoir

Adding a Serra Avatar essentially gives you a second Evra on the field, but doesn't offer the same amount of versatility as perhaps another card in the deck would.
