I really recommend Rhox Faithmender . The life you can gain each turn with his ability and any lifelink creature (such as himself) can get absurd when paired with exalted triggers. You can be gaining 10 life per turn or more.

Another card to consider is Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis , the largest exalted creature in standard, with a decent ability.

I would use Willing instead of Essence Harvest as a semi-finisher for this deck, it can give you a load of life when you make a final push with more than one creature (or one beefed creature) and can clean the battlefield for that one exalted creature you desire to push with.

Vault of the Archangel is functional identical to Willing though, and a lot harder to deal with. it is also repeatable. Willing will be more useful post rotation when the vault isn't available IMO. however, if you are able to use both halves the card is amazing.

Nice work on the Exalted metric, I don't see where Gift of Orzhova is functional in this deck, most of your creatures have flying or are unblockable except your Knights and they cannot be enchanted by anything black or white. That is also something to be careful of with the rest of your enchantments, I only run 2 of each Knight in my deck The Exalted Life because of that.

As far as Blood Baron of Vizkopa , I don't see why everyone thinks he is so cool. He is 5 mana and you already have protection from white and black with the Knights and by the time his second ability triggers, you have already won.

If you are playing casual and really want to knock your buddies heads off, try using Inquisitor's Flail on Vampire Nighthawk . Equip 2 of them with a couple of Exalted creatures out and you will be swinging for 16 or 20 and gaining that much life! I would drop Holy Mantle and Essence Harvest and run 4 Inquisitor's Flail and 4 Vampire Nighthawk 's. You might want to consider Daggerdrome Imp also to get more creatures with Lifelink and Flying.

I would also look at dropping Ultimate Price for Smite or Tragic Slip , I find that most of the creatures I really want to get rid of these days are multicolored. Smite works great on Exalted decks because you always have an available blocker and Smite destroys the attacking creature before damage is assigned so you don't loose your blocking creature.

+1 from me.

Thanks FrostyJams until I put the deck on here, I didnt have a sideboard, Gift of Orzhova was suggested to me so I put it in the side, but hadn't looked carefully but you're right.

I just went 3-0 in a multiplayer game bcoz my opponents had no answer for Holy Mantle so I feel a little bit aggrieved to drop it.

But I like the idea of the flail, so will give that a try.

Thanks for the heads up on Smite that seems like sound reasoning to me which I hadn't considered before so I will give it a test.

Comments really appreciated.

You need some Disciple of Bolas. Gives life gain and card draw after a sweet exalted attack

Sigiled Paladin is a great two drop you could add. Exalted and first strike is great.

I would say Gods Willing in place of Faith's Shield since it basically does the same thing. If you are at 5 life or less in modern you can't win anyways. Haha just being honest. Decks combo out t4 or t5

Yes storm and KikiJiki combo out turn 4 and they don't care about your life. But those aren't the only decks in modern. 5 life doesn't mean your dead. It means you have 5 life left to work with.

Also I would look at some the exalted from alara, maybe expand to esper? Drop Doom Blade . Replace it with something like Path to Exile . I would move Knight of Infamy to the sideboard, and bring him in against favorable matchups. If you don't want to spend the monies on Thoughtsieze, Inquisition of Kozilek does about the same thing.

I like the idea of scry off Gods Willing but it won't save me from a lightning bolt or lightning helix where Faith's Shield can granted i'm not in god shape with 5 or less life. But if it's around turn 5 then i'll be looking at swinging with a sublime pumped Vampire Nighthawk follow it up with an Essence Harvest and its not inconceivable i've just got 10 life back.

I've got to get some Path to Exile it is better than Doom Blade .

I've got Thoughtseize is it worth getting inquisition??

Sigiled Paladin will be going on my shopping list for sure.

Any tips for the sideboard??

Balance between creature non creature about right? More removal or control rather than proc??

Thanks for your input so far KnightsBattlecry001 Magiclover318 and kintighd

Inquisition is a nice card, there are so many targets you can choose from, especially turn 1.

I would be worried about boardwipes, Rootborn Defenses is a nice card, and you could get another 1/1 spirit.

Path to Exile is better than doomblade. The extra land they get is worth exiling a bomb that wins them the game, or a utility creature that their deck needs to run.

and no if you already own the thoughtsiezes there is no need to pick up inquisition of kozilek.

Rootborn Defenses added to sideboard. Path to Exile will replace Doom Blade when i pick up some copies of it.
