Gimmick of this deck is to make it where your opponent cannot win, and you cannot lose. By using the Exchange ability, you can swap the control of your own Abyssal Persecutor to an opponent. By keeping the Persecutor tapped down by using your Puppeteer so they cannot swing for damage if you can help it, and or even untap your own Thieves where they can trigger their ability to where you can swap more than once a turn, even on your opponents turn. Where you cannot lose the game unless the Persecutor leaves the battlefield, that means yes, the Persecutor can swing at you, but your life amount does not matter. For even more annoyance, you can play the Demon's Heralds, meaning that it is a useless 1/1 to them to exchange from the Daring Thief ability for your opponents own creatures if they decide to not concede. Switcheroo is an amazing card that allows you to steal two more creatures from their side if you so wish as well. Cards much like Rewind and Cancel are to prevent your opponent from playing any sort of spells that destroy target creature, meaning if they were to kill the Persecutor, you would automatically lose the game if you had no library to draw from on your next draw, your life was below 0, or any other win condition rulings that apply. Dead Weight can somewhat play in your favor if you wish to tap down other creatures your opponent may control with the puppeteer, and or to simply lower the Persecutor down to a 2/2 or such so their trample damage cannot get past a Fog Bank . Finally, the Spawn of Mayhem is a card that is mainly your primary source of damage. Although if you try to pay life on the upkeep for its ability, you cannot lose if the Persecutor is on the enemy side of the board, so the Mayhem can get pretty large. Other than that, the only way a person can make the exchanging suffers end, is mostly by conceding the match.
