This deck is meant to take out the win conditions of the other player. See their hand with Despise and Duress to metagame their deck. Search their library with Sadistic Sacrament and exile "odd-man-out" cards or to get rid of 3x playsets. Call out their win conditions with Memoricide. Spot Removal with Doom Blade. Stall tactics with Royal Assassin. Global removal with Black Sun's Zenith. Exile all removed/discarded cards from Library with Haunting Echoes to secure the win. Mimic Vat to imprint any creature removed from the board (Royal Assassin is crazy on the vat!). Sign in Blood for card draw. Mind Rot to slow the mid-game and kill their strategy on turn 3. Phyrexian Obliterator is a powerhouse and Sangromancer has great synergy with all the removal.

There's no real rhyme or reason for the sideboard but here's how the cards are subbed in:

Go for the Throat comes in against decks that require more removal and against black decks.

Dismember comes in against control and black decks.

Inquisition of Kozilek comes in for caw-go/blade, kuldotha red token swarm decks.

Surgical Extraction comes in against quicker combo decks (usually in the place of Memoricide).

Tectonic Edge replaces 3x Swamps against man-lands and valakut.
