With the printing of 5 new curses in Commander 2017, I was once again inspired to look at "curse" as a card type, and decided I wanted to make a curse based deck. It seemed that Grixis was the best color to be in to take advantage of the best curses, and that Nekusar the best "curse-like" commander.

I'm not sure how competitive this deck will be, but I think its going to be a lot of fun.

This deck is built with cars I had on hand, or could get cheaply, so it runs a budget mana base, and some substitutions which might not always be ideal:

Encroaching Wastes over Strip Mine

Mystic Remora over Rhystic Study

Jace's Archivist over Magus of the Wheel (although I think Archivist might just be better in this deck)

Kolaghan's Command over Cryptic Command
