Switching to Explorer on Arena! That means losing Maelatrom Pulse.

This deck revolves around two cards: Bloodthirsty Adversary that recycles 3-mana spells and Inscription of Ruin that puts 2-mana creatures back on the battlefield. Both cards can be used more agressively if needed, to make them great midrange cards.

This deck wants 2-mana creatures and 3-mana spells.

2-mana creatures

Scavenging Ooze is one of the best creatures because of the graveyard hate. Somtimes that or the lifegain wins you the game. If you have no Chevill, you usually can play it on turn two and get it back later if it's killed.

Next, Chevill, Bane of Monsters is a value machine against creature decks. So you need more kill spells. Even on top of the 3-mana spells that can all be used as kill spells. Bloodchief's Thirst is on theme with Adversary, but more important: it's flexible. It kills early creatures efficiently and deals with late game planeswalkers and big creatures. In this deck, that flexibility is better than Fatal Push or other quick removal spells.

Bonecrusher Giant is the only creature that's more than 2 mana. I still play it because it's one of the best midrange cards on it's own right. It has a built in removal spell. Sometimes, a Chevill and a Bonecrusher is all you need to stabalize against aggro.

3-mana spells

Maelstrom Pulse is good against anything. Of course the goal is to get a 2 or 3 for 1, but don't be afraid to kill something scary.

Kolaghan's Command has many useful options. Mostly I use discard + two damage to a creature. But getting back a Scavenging Ooze or Bloodthirsty Adversary can be a lot of value.

Thoughtseize you know. It doesn't need 3 mana to be one of the best cards. Take a look to know what you are up against, take a combo piece or take the counter spell you can't play around.

Riveteers Charm is the new toy that seems to fit this deck perfectly. It's flexible, kills creatures, gives card advantage and can delete graveyard dependant decks.

Mana

The manabase is focused on getting three colors in time. You want to get to 5 mana as soon as possible for Bloodthirsty Adversary, so I play 25 lands.

The only color you will need on turn 1 is black. So I play four of Blood Crypt and Overgrown Tomb. Red is important, but later on. So I play 4 Dragonskull Summit and Rootbound Crag but less Stomping Ground. Green is also important, so I play lots of doubles to have as many colors as possible.

I play few utility lands. There may be room for more single color lands, like creature lands or basics. Let's see if Streets of New Cappenna's new addition helps for this. Maybe if there's a lot of artifact or entchantmant in the meta you can go to 26 lands with extra Boseiju, Who Endures.
