Why aren't you running Abundant Growth instead of Unbridled Growth, trying to play around discard or something?

Hey, I like your build, it's a little bit different than other competitive sultai builds. You look like you have almost everything hammered into place.

If you're looking for some other ideas to consider, you might like Oath of Nissa for "card draw" and Surrak, the Hunt Caller for a late threat.

In early games the oath can dig three deep, get you a land, creature or planeswalker and fix your mana for the double color cost in your walkers. I know it doesnt get you your instant or sorcery spells, but its still pretty good early if you just want a land. It's probably better than traverse for you in the early game and in multiples they send each other to the grave to help out delirium and goyf. it's kind of a shame that the oath sends cards to the bottom instead of the grave, it's the only reason i don't run it in my graveyardy deck.

Surrak is a pretty decent top deck that will probably have haste when it drops onto the board if you have a goyf out or any two other creatures you run, and it gives any subsequent goyf haste just to speed out your threats. the only thing i could think to cut for it is baloth though, and i know that has good synergy with liliana but with only 2 in the deck, it's not like your gonna be capitalizing on that ALL the time. I think rolling out a hasty threat after some removal is a powerful play to consider.

Just throwing some ideas at you, good luck with the deck +1 :D

cplvela0811 you got it brother man.

I've been playing with him since he was released he is sooo dominant, if he isn't dealt with immediately you almost just win.

Have you ever considered Simic Charm? It may or may not have been in my list when you looked at it. After further testing, I've found it to be amazing. Anything your opponent might try to do, if it involves them trying to mess with your stuff, usually Simic Charm can stop it.

infinitelennies I actually did use Simic Charm for a time the modes are great.

The issue comes is the power of it is lackluster compared to some other options. I'd rather just have a Cryptic Command or another removal spell.

April 3, 2017 7:14 p.m.

Simic Charm can do a few things Cryptic Command can't do, like for instance:

Counter Abrupt Decay

Get in three extra damage (which is all the more relevant because we don't have Lightning Bolt)

Save a creature without being extremely restricting on mana

Stifle abilities targeting permanents I control (Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is a big one)

If you're worrying about ulamog you really already wrong our MU with tron is just so bad we should just give up on it.

And so what if my stuff dies? I have recursion and more edges then most control or midrange decks.

April 3, 2017 7:47 p.m.

There are a couple of things that just differ by opinion:

1- I'd rather save Tarmogoyf this turn and then untap attack than take another turn to get it back.

2- I do not agree with the "My matchup is bad so I should just take the losses and not even prepare for them" mentality. Even if the matchup is 10/90. I'd still rather give myself a chance and make it 15/85.

3- I don't believe our matchup with Tron is even on the "no reason to try" level. It is bad, I know, but it's still winnable. You usually just need to counter a couple of search spells while maintaining a clock fast enough to kill them before they get Tron back together. I'll admit it doesn't work unless you draw really well, but I like to be optimistic.

Apakakuta, infinitelennies

I believe both Simic Charm and Cryptic Command to be great cards in their own right's. However, command would not be fit for the current version. In regards to Simic Charm--it holds a battle against Golgari Charm--and both are situational cards. I do enjoy them both, though. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet does not automatically stand up to a Reality Smasher, but helps in other ways.

skeletonkey8

I just recently did so and he worked okay (for the times I did open or pull it) for the amount of time I have used it. My brother suggested it and it shined--I drew into 3 extra cards, but to be fair--I was also playing against the new "Cherios/Storm" using Grape Shot, and whacked all of his creatures (all 8 of them). Thank you, for loving the list and helping get it here!

The Verdict: Tireless Tracker is good, if it stays.

cplvela0811I did say those cards a both good I just explained they do different things per the situation.

Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet is the biggest pain out of my deck according to eldrazi players.

Also Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip is great for those games that go long.

i still enjoy Traverse the Ulvenwald as i find it quite easy to activate it, but otherwise its a mana fixer if im in a tight spot. im following along and seeing what works with you =)

Traverse is phenomenal. I used it in here previously. It tutors exceptionally well. I went with more card types to be online. I would still use it in a heartbeat.

This 75 took me to a 4-0 finish last FNM. I have been too lazy to post the results. I will now. With school, work, my family, and life, I take a minute sometimes, ha ha.

Mono Green Devotion: 2-0

Grixis Delver: 2-0

U/B Spirits: 2-0

Jund: 2-1

I've actually found the normal 4 to be sufficient cplvela0811 instant sorcery creature land.

The trick lies with balancing the numbers and effective cards that aren't air.

If it works for you, nice. My luck with cards isn't as good, so I take no chances. I play 7 card types, for Delirium and 7/8's. I do not care much for 3/4's and 2/2's. My luck is shit, so I let the probability sky rocket, for me with 7 types. I wonder if the inclusion of an 8th card type would be relevant.

cplvela0811,

You got this! Put in like 8 in place of your Flayers and Goyfs. I've never really liked them, they're pretty bad cards.
