Hi everyone! This is a deck i've been working on for quite some time now featuring the infinite loop of the damage/lifegain combo of Exquisite Blood, Sanguine Bond and using extort to fire off the combo as soon as its available.
Been trying to keep it under $100 so to remain budget.
Thrull Parasite : A good one drop with extort and a nice effect of being able to remove counters to boot should the need arise.
Tithe Drinker : A solid two drop with lifelink and extort making him very effective for this deck.
Vizkopa Guildmage : Another good two drop for this deck, not so much the first ability of his since most of my creatures already have lifelink but his second one can substitute in for Sanguine Bond if the need arises.
Souls of the Faultless : In my opinion a fantastic defender it really makes your opponent think twice about swinging with those big creatures and is good stall material.
Crypt Ghast : Extort with a little bit of mana ramp what more could i ask for.
Rhox Faithmender : Twice as much life=Twice as much damage with Vizkopa Guildmage or Exquisite Blood out.
Blood Baron of Vizkopa : not only does he have lifelink but also protection from white and black which offers so major protection from removal spells. Early on into the game its almost guaranteed to have 30 or more life so having him come out as a 10/10 powerhouse will have the opponents scrambling for a defense and not even thinking about Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood combo that will be creeping up on them by then.
Obzedat, Ghost Council : not only a strong creature in its own right but the phasing for protection and a constant source of damage and lifegain make this guy a must in this deck.
Dark Ritual : early game, mid game ramp to be use for just about everything in this deck. 3 mana for 1 mana whats there not to like.
Doom Blade : cheap creature removal just in case the opponent has something big he can get out quick this is here to send it right back where it hurts.
Underworld Connections : card draw, the faster i get the cards for the combo the better. damage isn't a problem due to how lifegain heavy this deck is.
Diabolic Tutor : deck searching, when you just can figure out why your not drawing the card you need, why bother, search your deck for it!
Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond : For very obvious reasons and its what this deck is build around using.
SIDEBOARD
Batwing Brume : token heavy decks is what this would be for. The opponent has a quick 5 creatures he/she can swing with and i after playing this card have a quick 5 damage i can send right back while leaving me untouched.
Merciless Eviction : Board wipe of whatever i chose.
Open to suggestions please. This is my first Deck ive ever posted on Tapedout so id love the input. thank you.
