True, but trying to keep it standard so only recluse works

I would suggest replacing Defend the Hearth with Fog seeing as Fog is one mana cheaper, and also protects your guys

That'll work. Stalling 4 turns tends to get old fast lol

Oh, I'm sorry, I did not notice that, however, have 4 fogs instead of 3 and go down to 2 Defend the Hearth .
Putrefy would be another strong option

if you ever do decide to go more casual Heartless Summoning would be good

Don't own any :/ I wish I could get some though, would help in the duels where I get a flood of one land and not the other.

Liliana's Reaver might help with making izzet discard and still get a crazy clock going, the 2/2 zombie every turn agianst them would do amazing.

as long as your not playing the tier one lists at your local tourneys, this deck seems like it'd be solid. Discard is always a great sb tool, I'd even consider mainboarding some just to keep trouble cards away from the battlefield.

secretoftheooze Alright, I'll pretend I know what tier one means. But yeah, I only found those 8 discard cards. I'll work on getting more before the FNM but I think they can cover me.
Propheci I am hesitant to add non-gorgons due to the fact I have landed Hythonia in about 80% of my duels, especially hesitant about a non-gorgon producing a horde of non-gorgon tokens. But thanks for the suggestion, I actually have never seen that card, so the suggestion still helped!

If I can find a job to pay for a few, or a player unaware of how good/expensive it is, I'll jump at the chance

How about Crypt Ghast to ramp your mana better (no he isn't a gorgon dont hurt me)
December 25, 2013 11:09 p.m.
Hmmmmm, Crypt Ghast . He is a good card, and has given me lots of trouble in the past, but I'm gonna have to say no. Really solid suggestion though man, I had to think about it for a while.

Deadly Recluse , Typhoid Rats , Wall of Roots can help stall the board vs creatures that aren't really worth wasting removals on till you can get your gorgons out.
