CommanderPatsyi think Vivien Reid and Vivien, Champion of the Wilds would work in the deck

SirChris39 I could see slotting in Vivien, Champion of the Wilds over Yeva, Nature's Herald . I might actually play test that this weekend.

What is your experience with 29 lands? I would like to add Veil of Summer , Worldly Tutor and Summoner's Pact to my deck but cannot find room for those cards other than cutting on lands (I run 35).

Desti702 29 Land has been fine with me, granted it is definitely risky. Bare minimum in my opening hand I keep one land + 1 dork. You can definitely cut down 35 land to 29 but for the first time cutting land I recommend cutting 2-3 first and play test it to see if you like the way it plays.

CommanderPatsy thanks a lot! Will playtest how many lands I really need! 2-3 lands less seems fine, I addition I will probably cut Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip since it is more or less a flavor card and not really impactful!

Card draw has been my weakness recently with my ezuri deck as well i get boardwiped or loose a key elf early suddenly my deck doesn't function i don't really like infinite combos but elves loose to krenko otherwise and i want to dump more elves out but cuts and alterations have been hard plus growing rites has been sold out every single time a copy becomes aviable i had to pay 3 times the cost just for my only copy and i put it into my populate deck

LordTsukune Card draw is the biggest obstacle to overcome in this deck. Theres been many games where I just dump my hand and play draw go to catch up. I've implemented a lot of cards like Shamanic Revelation , Regal Force , and Sylvan Library to try and always keep some sort of card movement consistent. Board wipes are another huge problem which is why Heroic Intervention is a crucial card and if you have a decent board you should always try and keep mana up to protect key elves with Ezuri. The only card that truly counters us is Damnation or Wrath of God . And the best thing I can advise for the Growing Rites is try to buy one online at TCG since they usually have the best prices.

What purpose does Temur Sabertooth serve? Any combo, synergy or meta choice for its inclusion?

Probally saves a creature from removal or board wipes

Thought Ezuri, Renegade Leader would fill that role quite nicely, it seems to take up a slot :/ But that might be.

LordTsukune WUBRG97 It is very versatile in its role. Mainly you can use it to bounce creatures to get more value, like elvish visionary or regal force. But it does have infinite combos with cards like priest of titania to make infinite mana if you have a haste enabler plus the elv

CommanderPatsy Oh okay, so not as straightforward as some of the other combos, but still serves a big purpose. Thanks for the quick reply.

Do you see a spot for The Great Henge since its release?
November 17, 2019 8:28 p.m.
Rdmdhudlum says... #20
The deck easily bumps an elf to power 7 making The Great Henge cost 2G to then immediately be able to tap for the 2G you just used essentially then costing 0. Which then also adds +1/+1 to each elf thereafter and giving you a constant draw mechanic.

Rdmdhudlum I am going to playtest it. The main thing I’m worried about is having it in my hand when my biggest creature has only 2 power since thats the most common this deck has at the moment. The moment its on the field its definitely powerful don’t get me wrong. I’m interested to see how it performs.

I wonder why do you use Pendelhaven? Cannot protect your Commander with it... And Aluren have any especific use?
I liked your list, increased a lot the power of my deck, but have some questions how those cards work.
November 26, 2019 2:51 p.m.
CommanderPatsy says... #23
danielmauricio Theres really no downside to playing pendelhaven beside it not being a basic land. It comes into play untapped and just offers extra slight protection for our Mana dorks if they need it for a blocker. Aluren is just really good value since like 70% of our creatures are 3 or under including the commander. It also helps cards like Priest or Archdruid go infinite with Temur Sabertooth because you dont have to pay to recast them. If you play against other creature heavy decks, I could definitely see someone cutting this card because it does offer huge advantages to other players as well. But if you are going against more combo, artifact, or control decks its super helpful to be able to slam down creatures at instant speed, especially if you have a draw engine such as beast whisperer or glimpse of nature that lets you draw into more creatures. Usually I would do something like this if I needed to flash in my commander to save another elf or flash in something like a rec sage to destroy someone's combo piece like helm of the host or aetherflux.

CommanderPatsy I get it. About Aluren, I didn't read "3 or less" so for me didn't make any sense until read again. What you think about to use Great Oak Guardian? Always I see Temur Sabertooth the Guardian comes togheter... it's a great combo, pump and untap, an alternative when you can't cast Ezuri or use his ability (Pithing Needle, Nevermore...)
