Ezuri's army of incredibly small people

Commander / EDH* GU (Simic)

SQUID-MAGIC

Hello, and Welcome to Ezuri's Army of Incredibly Small People! First of all, thank you for taking time to look at the deck. But enough talk, let's get down to it.

The main goal of this deck is to make some small creatures into huge attackers, and make miniscule leaders into giant warlords.

Some notable mentions in this deck are Sage of Hours, Mycoloth, Cultivator of Blades, and Hornet Queen.

Sage of Hours is one of the most powerful cards in the deck. If you are able to get Five Experience counters with Ezuri, Claw of Progress and you play Sage of Hours, you can make an infinite turns combo by putting five counters on it on your combat, and remove them to take an extra turn, then repeat on the next turn, and the next, etc.

Mycoloth can generate an absurd amount of Saprolings depending on how many +1/+1 counters are on it. If you have Ezuri, Claw of Progress out, you can play Mycoloth and put all your +1/+1 counters on it. AT the beginning of the next upkeep, create Saprolings equal to the counters on it, gain more experience, and you can gain an arbitrarily large amount of Saprolings and one freakishly huge Mycoloth.

Cultivator of Blades almost goes without saying. On the ETB, you can gain three Experience with Ezuri, Claw of Progress and you can put three +1/+1 counters on it that combat. The next turn, those 1/1 servos become 7/7 monstrous automatons (not including the rest of your vast army of tokens)

And last but not least for our Honerable Mentions, Hornet Queen. This does not require much explaining, except for that it grants five experience off the bat, and five bodies for Ezuri to pump up.

Since Ezuri constantly creates giant mutants of creatures constantly, some ways to make use of them are Feed the Pack and Fungal Sprouting. They both create tokens based on the power of creatures you control. Another way to gain value and well-needed card draw is Fathom Mage. Fathom Mage works well with Ezuri, because it let's you draw cards equal to your Experience each combat, essentially. One last card that I am going to mention is Master Biomancer. Within the Context of any Simic +1/+1 counter themed deck, Master Biomancer is quite a powerful card. Since you will be generating a lot of Mana through ramp with cards like Fertilid, you will be able to generate a lot of creatures, and Master Biomancer will instantly pump them all while also gaining those precious Experience triggers off of Ezuri.

Some things I would like recommendations for are cards to protect Ezuri with, because I would imagine that after the first game, Ezuri would have a huge target on his head as soon as he hits your side of the table. If you are wondering why I am missing all of the Essentials for a Commander deck and missing many of the staples is that I built this deck on a $100-110 budget.

I would appreciate any and all comments on this deck, and don't hesitate to give criticism, because that is what forges a Commander deck.Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this. If you're already here, please upvote the deck so that I can get more valuable feedback from as many people to make this deck as powerful and fun as possible. Thank you, and have a wonderful and blessed day.
