Creature (1)

Enchantment (1)

This deck is a pet project of mine as elves are my favorite tribe in Magic and as such I'm trying to foil out every card possible. As of right now five cards are not possible to foil: Argothian Elder, Tempt with Discovery, Song of the Dryads, Worldly Tutor, and Winding Canyons.

The main goal is to assemble one of our combos to generate infinite mana so we can kill the table with infinitely large Elves. We have several creature and land tutors to aid in assembling our combos. This deck can consistently win on turn 5, with possible wins at turns 3 and 4 with optimal play and start state. Craterhoof Behemoth is a back-up win con. My meta is heavily competitive, containing such decks as Derevi stax, Narset, and Tasigur.

Notable Exclusions:

As said above, this deck is focused on assembling an infinite mana combo to dump into Ezuri's overrun ability. If a card is not contributing to that end in some way it is excluded.

Primal Surge - This card used to be in a previous iteration of this deck. It's a fun casual card at a whopping 10 mana. This card is something you'd really need to build around to benefit greatly from it. It really sucked casting this thing and then whiffing on the first reveal because you hit an instant.

Elf lords - These are cards like Elvish Champion, Joraga Warcaller, and Imperious Perfect. Elves are generally wimpy 1/1s and these lords only make your elves more of a target by making them scarier. This deck is capable of making elves infinitely large, which is better than a few +1/+1 bonuses.

Elf token producers - Hunting Triad, Gilt-Leaf Ambush, and Elvish Promenade. These produce vanilla elves, so they have no other use. I'd rather have more mana dorks so I can make my board explode.

Tribal boosters - Door of Destinies, Coat of Arms. Similar to the elf lords, we don't want to make our elves more of a target. Door is too slow as you need to build it up and Coat helps out opponents.

Sword of the Paruns - Similar use to Umbral Mantle and Staff of Domination, but this costs a whopping 10 mana to actually use. Ideally we'd like to drop an enable on the turn we intend to use it, to minimize the chance that it gets blown up.
