Hey you! Yeah, you! Do you like to smash people in the face with endless hordes of big creatures? How about draining the life out of them while bolting them? Then you'll probably love this (simplified) deck!

Built around Faith of the Devoted and the 3 best burn spells in the format Fiery Temper, Alms of the Vein, and Lightning Axe to whittle your opponent's life and board, and playing the most efficient creatures that discard to beat them down, this should be a pretty powerful budget deck. But I need your help. How can I improve this? Get rid of the smaller dorks like Courier, Adept, and Neonate, and slamming down more cycle effects?

After some testing, I've found that I run out of steam way too quickly. I'm just not digging through my deck fast enough to slam down creatures and burn spells, and my cards in hand is typically small after the first few turns. Solution?

Midnight Oil

I wish it was a two drop, but as a top end when I'm Hell-bent it's pretty great. It does a few subtle things. It draws cards, it gives me a free discard outlet end of turn, multiples play well together (resetting max hand size). The lifeloss when I discard is offset by the lifegain from Faith of the Devoted. Essentially, turn 5 and beyond I abruptly change into a draw-go deck, turning my cards in hand into Lightning Helixes or better.

Scrapheap Scrounger is just there for value. I'll never feel too bad discarding it. It works really well with Insolent Neonate.
