If I am lucky, I get a hand with1 Mountain, 2 Rite of Flame, 1 Kiln Fiend, 1 Reckless Charge and 1 Assault Strobe. Boom, the first turn 20 damage with six cards. With Gitaxian Probe the fiend was even bigger and in the best situation with the drawn card is that I get another one of those and then the third Rite of Flame which allows me to boost my fiend with Reckless Charges flashback ability. In that situation I would deal 50 damage. Yes. 50 damage in the first turn.

Another situation could be that I have1 Mountain, 2 Rite of Flame, 1 Immolating Souleater , 1 Reckless Charge and 1 Assault Strobe. Boom, 26 damage, and I am left with 2 life and a card in hand. If that card was a third Rite of Flame, I could have cast the Reckless Charge again dealing 32 damage. And this is pauper! You have to remember that this is not a top tier legacy or something like that, only a budget pauper mono-red deck.

If I need to remove a creature or get through defense, I could have for example a Lightning Bolt or Apostle's Blessing in the second turn, or with Gitaxian Probe I can see if my opponent has removals (or Fog) to be scared of. I want to win asap, that's the nature of the the game with this deck.
