I don't like Frostburn Weird . I think it's a terrible card and can only be run in MUD.

And, Chainwalker is there to chain with Burning Tree.

And thank you, DoomsdayDad, I appreciate it.

I would say I'm on the fence with gore-house, its good, but there are better options, firefist striker comes to mind. Otherwise its solid. Poor mans stormbreath could be the flame wreath phoenix, or a temporary band aid? +1 from me

Yes, I have 1 Pheonix right now that I really want to put in here.

Also, Gore-House Chainwalker is really good, especially when I can chain him off of BTE, but I have been thinking of Firefist Striker as a replacement. Thanks for the +1 and the thoughts. I think I'm going to move Chainwalker out for Striker.

With the extra ramp you get from Burning-Tree Emissary , you might have too many lands. Maybe the playtester is just acting up today, but I kept getting mana flooded. You might be able to take out one land for something else. Perhaps a third Purphoros, God of the Forge .

If you're going to splash white (which works really well for this kind of deck), Chained to the Rocks would be a great addition.

Nah, the landbase is fine. I play this deck against friends all the time and mana is almost never an issue. There were only a couple games where I was holding a Stormbreath Dragon in hand (Because I have one as a singleton in my deck so far) and I couldn't draw that fifth mountain.

Splashing white sounds great, but adding Chained to the Rocks will mess up my draws a lot. I also can't chain it off of B-TE, which is how I mainly play my non-creature spells. Great card, great way to deal with pesky creatures, but I'm worried it will slow my game down.
