+1 for the deck coz dr. Moreau would be proud of you :D

try + 1 Dryad Militant , +1 Wasteland Viper -2 Giant Growth as the vipers have an even more killer surprise effect than giant growth...

I would replace 3 dryads for 3 Deathrite Shaman ...

1/2 creatures like Deathrite Shaman or Wasteland Viper can still makes your Cloudfin Raptor and Experiment One enchanted with Rancor evolve coz they will have lower thoughness anyways. I think it will raise sinergy and interaction of the evolve trigger even more and both vipers and shamans can deal evil tricks a lot on their own... gor for it!

Did a lot of tests at this rate and ive let go of shaman and some other cards.

You can check here what ive did: Dr. Moreau Babies My intention was to maximize and get all the benefits from undying-evolve sinergy and not only relaying in just some set of cards for that...i mean, deck was in need of more triggers so you get good hands most of the times...

For that matter ive realized there was lacking some more creatures with undying and some more with evolve to trigger those benefits. Thats why ive opened an exception of the only one mana drops and got 3 Shambleshark <<excellent baby !! and Strangleroot Geist << really a must for undying-evolve aggro decks. Welp, leaving your curve with seven 2 mana drop creatures wont be hurting nothing so you shouldnt really be worried.

Took away the soulbound flier guy coz well, his 1/1 doesnt evolve anyone and besides we have trample from rancor that will make the damage pass flying by their heads anyways plus i seldom saw him during in my tests to tell that he made a difference.

3 Bioshift adds more tricky and deceiving and also the big advantage to move away the counters of your undying creatures so they will gonna last much longer...

Hope u like those inputs they proved worthy after manny tests ive did beating boros, gruuls, naya and rakdos decks. Hi5!

so i put this deck together a few weeks ago as it seemed legitimately fun. played it a few times, and just never really got great hands and i was playing around with other deck ideas of my own. finally last night, a friend didnt have a standard deck to play FNM with, was asking around if anyone had one, and i was like yeah, try this! he went 4-1 with a first round bye, so essentially 3-1. the only deck he lost to was a prime speaker bant deck that is disgusting. i didnt ask what else he played against but most of them he won 2-0 so. it works. the one thing he consistently sided out was Curiosity . i was looking for other one drops to add in and the only thing i could think of was Forced Adaptation .

I really love this deck. Thanks for your great ideas.
I made an improved one without the 1CMC theme but 2CMC.

Agressive Simic 1/2 CMC
I am working on it so it would be awesome if you can comment it. Thanks ;)

After all the cookiecutter R/W Boros or R/B Zombies I've been seeing, this is a breath of fresh air for aggro. The Howlpack + Hybridization combo is really clever. Might I suggest adding of Strangleroot Geist, since your manabase seems skewed more to Green? You could hybridize it as you do Young Wolf, and it comes in hasty as well as triggering evolve...

question, are you going to remake this deck once innistrad cycles out?

April 19, 2013 4:30 p.m.

CRUSHnKILL says... #10

i may remake this when innistrad cycles out if it is still viable. some of the core cards are from innistrad, Hunger of the Howlpack , Young Wolf , and Rancor will go out as well

seems weak to esper control due to the board wipes

ScionLocke says... #13

I have a similar themed aggro deck with more of a mid-game back-up plan...Immortal Evolution.

I would agree with others that you might consider Strangleroot Geist as you can drop it turn 2 and immediately swing for 3 with it and a Cloudfin Raptor , then turn 3 Rapid Hybridization to evolve the raptor to 3/4, Hunger of the Howlpack and Rancor on the geist to make it a 8/5 with trample, swing for 11.

I really like your Hunger of the Howlpack suggestion and may run it in my deck. I rely on Master Biomancer to beef up my creatures and force opponents into choosing not to block my counter free undying creatures, in which case I can pump with simic charm, or block and kill them and Biomancer with make them bigger when the return.

For card efficiency and only one extra mana try Simic Charm as it does Mizzium Skin , Giant Growth , and Unsummon on one card.

I'd suggest -4 Experiment One +4 Strangleroot Geist , -2 Giant Growth side board the 2 Dryad Militant and go +4 Simic Charm with 20 lands the 8, 2CMC shouldn't be a problem.

if you read the description, you'd know that this deck was built to be a 1 CMC deck. NO Execptions

Delver of Secrets  Flip was in but it hardly ever flipped and was a 1/1 so did not trigger evolve with its final P/T
