You got me at the match against american control.i have come up with a list that completely owns aggro decks, but i have had major troubles fighting american flashes =/

The fight against American control, or any control list, hinges on pressure, timing, and card advantage. If you can swing in with Nivix Cyclops or singe them with Guttersnipe then you create pressure, but you have to have cards to keep it up. Think Twice is a relatively cheap option that ensures that you have cards, and Jace, Architect of Thought is a great card advantage engine at a higher cost. I find Armed / Dangerous invaluable for generating pressure and damage, also double strike will proc ciphers twice! Hidden Strings can then untap 4 lands for second main, all attacking creatures, or some combination of the above as well as generating 4 damage from Guttersnipe that can go to the opponent or a planeswalker, (bye, bye Tamiyo, the Moon Sage ).

Hey i have a question since youre using Dissipate . If i have a Nivmagus Elemental on the field and counter a spell with Dissipate, does that give my Nivmagus Elemental 2 +1/+1 counters?

@Dazard - Unfortunately, Nivmagus Elemental only allows you to exile an instant or sorcery you control from the stack. You could however cast Artful Dodge then immediately flash it back and exile both from the stack for 4 +1/+1 counters instantly for only UU.

You should put one or two Krenko, Mob Boss in there, because you can untap it with Hidden Strings and you have 8 other goblins in there. I have it in my izzet Cipher deck and it's a lot of fun to put out.

@nathanhaymond - I have plans to run Young Pyromancer when M14 hits, but Krenko, Mob Boss is not something I had considered. Krenko would be useful for the same reasons the Young Pyromancer is, although he is more expensive (both cmc and price).

+1 just for the name and Enola Gay reference. Solid deck though, I've been wanting to make an Izzet deck lately.

Friend: hating on Nivix Cyclops , That combo is too fragile.
Me: sets up wombo-combo, Big Daddy is fine.
Friend: instant speed removal, aka Murder , Who's your daddy now?
Me: counters with Dissipate , Big Daddy is still your Daddy.
Friend: instagibbed by wombo combo, Big Leather Daddy, that combo is gay.
Me: laughing, Yeah, Enola Gay! Cause you just got nuked!
Heads explode and Faces melt from excessive Radiation (or a well timed pun)

+1 Awesome deck. I also have a Cyclops deck I'm working on He's shy, that one but needs a bit of help. Gotta love Armed / Dangerous for the armed spell. Throw out artful dodge, flashback artful dodge, play armed. You now have an unblockable 11/5 cyclops with double strike, all for just 1UUR. Awwww yeaaaa.
