This deck is built to use Favorable Winds as a way of leveraging the card advantage of Lingering Souls and Midnight Haunting , the speed of Delver of Secrets  , and the efficiency of Restoration Angel. It has a core of solid and dependable Delver-friendly cards (Vapor Snag, Ponder, Thought Scour, Snapcaster Mage) in order to maximize consistency, but also aims to create Spirit tokens in large quantities in order to overwhelm defenses based in spot removal and flying blockers. Its resistance to sweepers is relatively high due to the fact that with a Winds or two in play, a single copy of Lingering Souls is capable of representing a game-ending threat, reducing the need to overextend.

The weakness of the deck lies in its 3-color mana base, but the game-changing presence of Vault of the Archangel and the capacity to flashback Lingering Souls definitely makes up for the awkwardness of the black splash. As soon as the deck is capable of activating the Vault, things begin to go very poorly for opposing creature decks.
