"Trust me. When you have earned a god's favor, you'll know." ~ Akroan Skyguard

Hey MTG fans, got a brand new Born of the Gods based Blue-White Heroic Bestow deck here!

The name of the game here is evasive aura beatface. Throw down some heroic weenies, and bestow them to hell and back! (Sometimes literally! Have you seen those Desecration Demons?)

My biggest problem in the past has been running out of steam, and losing because an opponent stabilizes while I try to topdeck answers. Not anymore! No, Favored by Gods utilizes powerful card draw mediums like Thassa's Emissary , and Ordeal of Thassa . I can outpace them all day with lifegain from any of my creatures bestowed by Hopeful Eidolon, or cracking Ordeal of Heliod, so Red Deck Wins and Rakdos get pushed out.

Here's where I need (You) the community's help. When my deck goes off, man oh man, does it go off. The problem is that it's become inconsistent after a few good playtests. It can outrace green-based aggro and outpace red-based aggro, but gratuitous spot removal like we see from mono-black tears me apart. The problem I've noticed is them killing off (or exiling) my 1 or 2 creatures from opening hand, and then I draw lands and enchants for the rest of the game and can't do much. If an opponent can stall me out in the early game it's tough to catch back up.

I haven't gotten to playtest against any decent control decks or anything else along popular genres, so I don't know my weakpoints in those match-ups.

I'm thinking about putting Soldier of the Pantheon and maybe Blind Obedience into the sideboard, keeping my Aqueous Form for more evasion if necessary. Maybe run AEtherize ?These don't help much against spot removal however. I might drop Spear of Heliod since it has been seeming more and more irrelevant.Thoughts, suggestions, complaints?
