Deck for week three of the fourth Faithless Brewing Community League. This week is budget week - the deck has to be under 200 tix on MTGO.

Turns out you can make a pretty good Death and Taxes list under 200 tix on MTGO. This basically just replaces Skyclave Apparition with other decent choices. It's one of the most expensive cards in the list on MTGO, and it's not really replaceable, but there's some other decent cards.

Also threw in two Akoum Warrior  s, mostly for fun. I'm not sure it's better than Field of Ruin, and I think you actually need enough white sources that they can't replace plains very well. But I figured it'd be worth trying out.

Result: 1-1. Lost to UW stoneblade featuring spell quellers and beat UR Naban Wizards. I really felt the lack of Skyclave Apparition against the equipment and quellers in the first match. Resto came in clutch match 2 to blow out combat. The Akoum Warrior/Flickerwisp interaction came up once, but I also had to pass on turn 2 that game because it was my only land to play and it's a tap land. Still not sure how worth it it is.
