Wizard's finally delivered a Boros commander that doesn't suck! Feather's ability paired with cheap spells that draw you a card allow for legit card advantage in Boros, something that has been the guild's downfall in EDH. As our deck revolves around Feather, we devote a lot of resources into keeping her protected, bonus points if they draw you a card, like Shelter or Acrobatic Maneuver . We're looking to close the game with commander damage, using our suite of pump and evasion spells, or repeatable burn loops with cards like Chandra's Ignition or Soul's Fire . Some cheeky cards like Aurelia's Fury or Intimidation Bolt can be looped when targeting one of our own creatures to stop our opponents from casting noncreature spells, or combat. The creatures in the deck are a mix of good "heroic" targets like Phalanx Leader and Akroan Conscriptor , pingers, like Firebrand Archer and Guttersnipe and token producers like Monastery Mentor and Young Pyromancer . Finally, Mirrorwing Dragon and Zada, Hedron Grinder are two really explosive creatures that can turn our cantrips into HUGE draw spells. This deck is obviously still a work in progress, so please leave a comment if you have any suggestions!
