A quick throw together for my hot take on a Feather EDH, trying for as competitive as possible?

Some things: - At the time of making this I believed that Feather specifically could NOT interact favourably with flashback or similar effects, and so there are none in here. It's likely that should be the first thing I investigate going forward.

  • With that in mind, and realising that this is playing R/W, I went with a relatively staxx-y swing, with mainstays of Rest in Peace and Blood Moon , but notably leaving out Stony Silence , as the deck wants to leverage some kind of Aetherflux Reservoir + Paradox Engine win, as that seems too make the most sense with spamming a bunch of low cost cantrip spells.

  • On the note of the omission of artifact stax, we're going pretty hard on the mana rock thing, but the one thing I don't like about that is that they feel really awkward playing Mana Vault with a commander that costs all coloured mana, and a lot of spells that cost a single coloured mana. Maybe I'm just undervaluing the power level of the cards for pumping out our other stuff, but the idea is tempting me toward going full stax on this; and just using Feather as a card advantage engine to out-stax everyone; No lands, no graveyards, no artifacts. Worth considering again, as I worry the only way for R/W to compete in the format might be just to slow everyone else down to our level.

  • With that, there's a couple of very Cute things in here, which may be the first real cuts to make including: Pyromancer's Goggles and Primal Amulet   as spell dupers. Also some odd ball effects like Mana Tithe and Lapse of Certainty or Reverberate amongst others, as our Red/White imitation of "interaction", and I'm not sure I'll "get 'em" with stuff and make col Sunforger plays; or if they're just super bad and better off with real synergy.

  • Again, I ended up having in mind here that playing Red/White and trying to leverage Stax effects seemed to be the only way to go for the power level of cEDH if at all, and I ended up not wanting to play more synergistic cards like Tethmos High Priest or Akroan Crusader , because they aren't really helping us slow down the game too a pace that Red/White can keep up with, and we're doing better stuff to win. The exception to this is Monastery Mentor , but that's good enough I think. Skullclamp may now be worth cutting with this in mind.

  • I ended up leaving out Mirrorwing Dragon but not Zada, Hedron Grinder mainly for the egregious cost of 5 over 4, but also the fact that Zada only amplifies our spells, and not our opponent's removal (not that it should matter with our protection spells).

  • Finally, some of the notable big things that this deck definitely seems like it should be doing:
