First time comment, and big fan of Tribal Angels. You have a lot of focus on protection from colors, have you considered adding Concerted Effort to your deck? It might help spread the protection around giving your board more staying power. Trailblazer's Boots has good synergy with it too, making one or all of your creatures unblockable in EDH. Just a thought.

Angels has to be my favorite tribe, I really wanted a tribal demons deck to work but they just didn't work quite as well for a tribe.

The pro-color has been amazing in this deck I have looked at Concerted Effort before and it didn't register that the protection would be transferred. 4cmc as a cost for it is pretty good too. I'll definitely get one and test it! I'm not sure how i feel about Trailblazer's Boots though. I usually just use an instant pro color to give it unblockable. I guess T-boots would get around colorless... hmmm I'll think about.

Hey I am a long time Aurelia player. I like your deck, I have a build that is fairly similar. Anyway I have a couple quick suggestions for you.

Check out Quicksilver Amulet and Belbe's Portal they will let you cheat your big creatures down much faster, and at instant speed. Odric, Lunarch Marshal will spread your abilities around really nicely. Mask of Memory is amazing for card draw, and it doesnt draw nearly as much hate as sword of fire and ice. Maybe something like Karmic Guide or Marshal's Anthemto get some creatures back. Let me know what you think.

How do you find Quicksilver Amulet and Belbe's Portal work for you? I recently added Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power, Caged Sun, and Crucible of Worlds route and have been pretty happy with it. I was thinking they may be a little slow actually.

Recently I have been looking at lowering the curve. How do Sunscorch Regent & Taurean Mauler work for you? I have been thinking of adding them and Malignus.

In my experimenting with Marshal's Anthem in the past it always ends up a dead card in hand for me. Does it work for you? Have you tried Emeria Shepherd, Reya Dawnbringer, or Dawnbreak Reclaimer? Emeria is incredible with fetch lands. Yet I frequently find that there isn't anything yet in my yard to recover... and a beater that utilizes Aurelia's ability might be better.

I was thinking of going more towards the lines of Adriana, Captain of the Guard, Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas, Tajic, Blade of the Legion, Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder, Serra Ascendant, Galepowder Mage, Iroas, God of Victory, maybe even Hellrider.

You are absolutely right about Mask of Memory! I think I will replace some of the other high cost card draw with it, Rogue's Gloves and Sword of Fire and Ice . I might even add Markov Blademaster, Mirran Crusader and Oketra the True to double the triggers.

I totally will be getting a copy of Odric, Lunarch Marshal. I was just looking at him actually. I just had had a chance to check out SteveSketches recommendation of Concerted Effort which was totally awesome! Thank you SteveSketches! Indestructible Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and a flying Iroas, God of Victory were rather awesome. excepts I was still obliterated that game. So I think the similar effect from Odric, Lunarch Marshal is going to be awesome as well.

I keep on wanting to add Karmic Guide but it is such a combo piece. I want to do it justice with more combo pieces but I usually find myself avoiding combos... usually ;)

I was recently looking at Crown of Doom, do you have any experience with it? I think it might be great with the double attack phases!

Quicksilver Amulet and Belbe's Portal are awesome for this style of build with a lot of high cost creatures. You can flash in your creatures on the end step, which is a pretty big deal, and paying 4 on turn 4 and 4 again on turn 5 is much different than paying 8 on turn 8 (assuming no mana rocks). I haven'tried explanar, caged sun, or gauntlet of power because my mana base is setup different. I use Coalition Relic, Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus and the 2 cost mana rocks.

Sunscorch Regent and Taurean Mauler are awesome definitely run Sunscorch if you aren't married to angel tribal. I don't care for Malignus that much, it really needs trample to shine, and it will get smaller as the game goes a long.

I have had the same problem with Marshal's Anthem where it sits in the hand. Reya Dawnbringer is good, but I haven't been able to get Emeria Shepherd into play with the right situation, but it seems good against board wipe heavy opponents. I haven't tried out Dawnbreak Reclaimer I am interested to check it out though, but it does seem situational.

For this style of deck I personally wouldn't run Adriana, Captain of the Guard, Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas, Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder, orHellrider. Kalemne, dies too easily and doesn't have evasion, plus gets worse as the game goes long. Instead of Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder I would Duelist's Heritage you lose the lifelink piece but its much harder to remove. My problem with Adriana, Captain of the Guard is that you have to attack everyone to get max value, and that makes it so everyone at the table hates you. I haven't played with Adriana at all, but ive use the myriad cards, and its similar.

Tajic, Blade of the Legion is solid. If you gives a blocker against the big dumb creature on the board, and when you get battalion online it gets huge. Iroas, God of Victory seems reasonable, but may not be necessary with all the protection spells you have, but maybe you cut a protection spell for Iroas, he offers decent utility.

I haven't used Crown of Doom but it actually seems pretty good, I will need to check that one out as well.

It will interfere with your curve a bit but True Conviction is good for a deck like this, if the curve can support it.

Mana cards to check out Gift of Estates I run instead of Armillary Sphere its more conditional the mana savings is pretty big. Another interesting card is Oath of Lieges, I am still undecided on it, since its awesome if you are behind on lands, but a dead card if you are head or tied on lands.
