Seems a very strong deck, +1 from me.

I've also been brewing something like this. Can you take a look at mine and give me some insights?

Here's the deck:

Hey guys! Thanks for the upvotes, I really appreciate them.

Vergil_Redgrail - Yes! I'm glad you got the reference! I've been musing over your suggestions, and I think I'll be mentioning them in my primer I'm working on. For the most part, I like these suggestions, but they're hard to fit in the deck as is. I'll keep my eye on them and throw them on the maybeboard.

Soldcastro - I'd be happy to check your your deck! I'll throw a comment at you as soon as I can.

the major difference between the twins and karador is that you don't have to rely on hatebears to slow down the game because you have access to countermagic. I would strongly recommend adding more to both stop other game ending threats and protect your own combo.

PlattBonnay: Excellent point. I've been looking at potentially adding Pact of Negation, Swan Song, and other counterspells as protective measures to the combos. What cards do you think would be worth cutting?

Great deck!

Too bad you can't include Frankenstein's Monster

Lionsheart: I'm so sad that Frankenstein's Monster is a non-bo for this deck. Maybe it could be tossed in a more casual build, but still.

No Corpse Connoisseur or Phyrexian Delver? How about Corpse Harvester?

One combo that you didn't list was Diregraf Colossus + Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar !

Here is my list (no write-up...yet):

Solid list and love the music! +1

I feel that Graveborn Muse is a bit of a dangerous choice as she can easily kill you herself with 23 zombies in the deck. Maybe some more sac outlets to get rid of her/synergy with Havengul Lich/your commander/Diregraf Colossus? You have around 5, but repeatable ones+more?

Death Baron. Even though it's pricey, it's good. Very good. That's why it's 20 bucks.

I think you should check out this deck, it has a lot of combos as well.

Im not seeing how your 5th point is infinite zombies... Can you explain? All i see is diregraf captain being a buffer and a card being cast that lets you bounce a nonland permanent..

Number 4 also requires another zombie

Sorry for the belated reply post.

pettit: Compelling Deterrence could make its way in here in the future, perhaps. Gempalm Polluter and Lich Lord of Unx are better for a more token based approach.

Graveblade: so far, I haven't had any problems with Graveborn Muse. If I do find she's problematic, I'll add in lands like High Market.

theConspiracy: while I have no doubts that Death Baron is a good card, I do not think it would be very effective for my deck as it is. It will be making debut in the sideboard.

LordGanondorf &Athraithe: Fixed both points in the description. Thank you for letting me know about those inconsistencies.

To everyone else, thank you so much for your kind words and support.

Frankenstein's Monster is feeling left out from your deck. (Is a Zombie type creature.)

All in all this looks like an interesting deck--even though I'm not big on Dimir--your deck is definitely solid reference for a Zombie deck. +1

I'll see if I can't provide some suggestions:

Awesome build and I love the flavor too! I might have to try this deck out.

Have you considered Dictate of Erebos? It's like an extra Grave Pact that can be flashed in!

Athraithe says... #25

I know it isnt flavorful but it could be super funny, have you thought of Dictate of Kruphix? just for casual play with friend not competitive, but drawing extra zombies would be scary XD (also for casual play, Leyline of Anticipation to flash them out)
