Great deck +1

It definitely inspired my deck: Gisa and Geralf: Siblings of Self-Mill

A couple suggestions:Frantic Search is a great card draw spell that fits with the self-discard/self-mill theme

Corpse Connoisseur is in your maybeboard. I think it definitely deserves inclusion. It's another way to tutor a key zombie into the graveyard

This may sound like blasphemy, but I would consider cutting Blue Sun's Zenith. There are more mana-efficient alternatives like Succumb to Temptation, Sign in Blood, or Read the Bones.

Do you have a budget version of this deck by chance? I unfoiled everything on this list and the total came out to ~$700. I'm not made of money... ;-;

Wow guys, thanks for the support! Thanks so much for the comments and suggestions.

greySynapse - Yeah, Frankenstein's Monster would be lovely, as would Sutured Ghoul, but sadly they just don't play well with Gisa and Geralf. Gate to Phyrexia seems a wee bit slow, and Blood Scrivener doesn't seem likely to trigger for me often. I do like Volrath's Stronghold as a second Unholy Grotto, so I'll look into its inclusion.

soymonk - Dictate of Erebos has been on my mind, but I've been hard pressed on deck testing time. As of right now, I just don't have the slots. Thankfully, I'm more available since work is easing up on me. If I have need for a creature hating card, I'll be sure to give it a closer look.

Athraithe - The only problem with Dictate of Kruphix is it helps my opponents... And I have a bad reputation in my playgroup as being our resident Johnny. in regards to Leyline of Anticipation, it seems like it could be useful. If I cut anything in my tests this week, I'll be sure to test it.

MegaMatt13 - I am very much a fan of Frantic Search, but I haven't found space for it yet. If I remember correctly, I believe it was in an earlier build of this deck. As for Corpse Connoisseur, while I do agree that it is a strong inclusion, I found it to be rather slow overall. In a more budget build, I'd definitely run it. And lastly, Blue Sun's Zenith is included as both draw utility, control, and as a funnel for infinite mana. The other suggestions are tempting (Succumb to Temptation joke), I'll have to continue using Blue Sun's Zenith for now. If it does end up being a bad fit, I'll take the earlier suggestion of Frantic Search.

Gfdbobthe3 - Yes, no worries, I'll be working on a budget list as soon as possible. It may not include as many combos, as there are certain cards that are just irreplaceable (i.e. Phyrexian Altar), but it'll work pretty well. You can expect that list sometime this week, I hope.

Love both the deck and it's presentation.

I'm building a Geralf and Gisa EDH myself now.

My plan will be to exploit Conspiracy...you get the idea :-)

I have my own Gisa and Geralf build (That exploits conspiracy to a hilarious effect.)Gisa (and Geralf's) Zombie Apocalypse

Have you ever considered Altar of the Brood? With both that and Undead Alchemist out in the right match up, or in multiplayer, it is almost always a game ending combo.
