So people have been trying to make Soulflayer work for awhile now, so I figured I'd brew a bit and it is easily one of the coolest decks I've ever played and is my new FNM deck.

So we have a Sultai shell to support the self-milling to facilitate the flayer. So we run a few creatures to give you the key words you need;

Silumgar, the Drifting Death: This guy is the bomb. He can easily win a game by himself, but if you happen to mill past him, you make Soulflayer very hard to deal with for control decks.

Pharika, God of Affliction: This lady is great against other sultai and abzan decks, giving you the ability to grind out against cards like Siege Rhino. But if you happen to mill past her, Soulflayer gets a very powerful keyword

Sylvan Caryatid: This ones pretty straight forward; great blocker, free mana, or gives Flayer hexproof

And the mother of all messes, Chromanticore: This dude makes for a serious threat, since you can either pitch him to the Flayer or you can hard cast him with Caryatid and Mana Confluence. Most of the time, he's an instant game over.

The rest of the decks creatures is a playset of Satyr Wayfinder which just helps to get the engine going.

Non-Creature Spells:

Commune with the Gods: Filters your draws and fuels your delve.

Murderous Cut: Removal for cheap, and can still delve for a lot with the fetches and other spells you'll be going through.

Monastery Siege: Most of the times with this card you're going to be naming the Khans functions so if you draw any cards you'd rather delve away, you can discard them for the Flayer. In the matchup against the mardu decks with a ton of removal, the Dragons function can make it hard for your opponents in the early game

Sideboard:

A 3 of Bile Blight and Drown in Sorrow are great in the aggro match ups, clearing up things like Goblin Rabblemaster and Monastery Mentor.

Negate comes in against U/B Control, Jeskai Ascendancy, U/W Heroics or any other deck with lots of non-creatures spells

Chasm Skulker is a weird one, but he's awesome against any decks running End Hostilities or Crux of Fate. Protect him for a turn or two and you have insurance against sweepers.

Whip of Erebos Comes in against midrange mirrors to grind out the match with absurd life gain.
