Maybeboard

People slate the Kamigawa block, saying that compared with what came before and after it was underpowered or uninteresting. As a stand-alone set, however, I think it's hard to argue that it was anything but a flavour win: great story; cool background based on Asian history/folklore; even card strength distributed across all the colours and some really epic artwork (those panoramic lands are just gorgeous). While they're not technically strong as a tribe, playing Samurai Kitsune is just FUN for a casual game. No-one expects them and they can be very rewarding when all goes according to plan.
