A few of my friends have asked me about Malevolent Awakening
and why it's in the deck, here's why. If you've got a Corpse Cur
in the graveyard, and use MA to sacrafice any random creature, when you recast CC, you can pull the creature you sacked back into your hand. granted if you have two CC's in hand, it becomes mute, but if you don't have it handy it's nice to have an alternate way to pull a creature out of the graveyard.
