Cool deck! +1 for your commander, I love her! Some good additions for your deck would definitely be Mikaeus, the Unhallowed with whom you can even double sac your creatures. Not to mention the +1/+1 and build in removal. Sadly he works against your Containment Priest so I wouldn't have both of them on the battlefield at the same time. Another great sac outlet is Carrion Feeder and he's even cheaper than your Bloodflow Connoisseur. Also I'd love to see Darkest Hour in here. Once a sac outlet and your commander is on your field you just can sac your black creatures for black tokens infinitely. It works perfectly together with your Blood Artist, dictate or grave pact to power up your creatures and to get rid of your opponents' creatures. Your chances to get the cards you need for the combos would increase if you also put in some tutors like Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor or cheaper ones like Enlightened Tutor or Idyllic Tutor.

Well, I hope that helps! :)

ScrOuch: Carrion Feeder is exactly what I am looking for! Free outlet, combos with Shadow Alley Denizen, can be hit by Return to the Ranks, and gets permanent counters. Thanks!

Darkest Hour has been something that I have avoided for a while. I love this deck, Teysa, who she is, and what the deck stands for, but my playgroup treats this deck like a joke, I probably need to up the game.

Tutors are a bit pricey for me, and so is Mikaeus, sadly..

I see a couple of win conditions here, but would like to know how this deck wins games. Going wide on tokens? Stalling until a big Exsanguinate can wipe out your opponents? Sheoldred and Sun Titan are both pretty sweet bombs :)

Either way, I'd definitely recommend some more ramp in this deck from the Commander mainstays Solemn Simulacrum, Sol Ring, Darksteel Ingot, and Gilded Lotus. Cabal Coffers is a godsend for black mana and would really beef up your mass drain cards. More tutors are always nice in black, some nice budget options are Sidisi, Undead Vizier (also a sac outlet) and Increasing Ambition.

Also why no Swords to Plowshares?

skyburial: So sorry for the late reply! The deck mostly stalls to grind it out. Goading an agro player into swinging at someone else or their most useful 2 creatures will be removed is hard to argue with.

I definitely need more ramp. Building a field is easy, but sticking around after a wipe can really suck. Ramping can help me rebuild easier. Sol Ring is a must, as is Darksteel Ingot. Solemn Simulacrum sadly isn't or , is it worth it? I have been thinking of throwing in a Springleaf Drum since I usually have something to tap. Other than that I just need more mana gen... Ashnod's Altar + Phyrexian Altar ? Black Market?

I don't have a swords cause Teysa is the sword! I should put one in for flavor reasons.

The deck hasn't been updated in a while, I will have to do that soon.

Just remember, before you toss in Culling the Weak, is that it is mana ramp still need a place to go. I hope you have a plan for that .

Of course I will berryjon! Thank you for the comment!

A Dark Ritual + is very welcome in the deck!

Smothering Abomination draws me a card for each sac, allowing me to play nonlands.

Phyrexian Reclamation abuses it when something like Blood Artist or a soul sister is on the field.

I can always use it for extort triggers off of creatures like Thrull Parasite or Pontiff of Blight.

Or straight dump it into a Debt to the Deathless effect or Return to the Ranks.

Mana burn may be dead, but that doesn't mean that you should waste mana!

Eliminate the Competition and Gaze of Justice seem a little redundant with what your commander is doing. I generally try to stay away from one-shot effects in this format unless they are really back-breaking or X-for-1s or something. Revoke Existence could easily be Leonin Relic-Warder to give you extra-sac fodder that still perma exiles if you time it right. I also play Voldaren Pariah  Flip in my Teysa deck. Twilight Drover is always good in token decks, especially Teysa, and provides a mana sink as well. There is also the Enduring Renewal + Ornithopter/Memnite/Phyrexian Walker combo that goes "infinite" with any of your free sac outlets.

Hey the.beanpole! Thanks for your comment!

I agree, Eliminate the Competition and Gaze of Justice have been removed, in favor of Darkest Hour and Ashnod's Altar.

Leonin Relic-Warder actually looks really great! Thank you! On a scale of 1 to 10, how worthwhile do you consider Voldaren Pariah  Flip to be? Twilight Drover was removed because it was a bit slow, but with Ashnod's that may change.

Enduring Renewal looks great, but I don't really care to cast artifacts, even if I can sac em.

Pariah is ok. Not incredibly swingy, but good as a mini-Grave Pact that also can close out games. Personally, Angelic Skirmisher would be the cut for her if you want to go that route.

Enduring Renewal is kind of a build around card, for sure. And while it is good in this type of deck, on second look, I agree. It doesn't quite fit.
