Thanks! The Trepanation Blade s actually help a lot in making sure my foe never gets a land while milling the hell out of them. Mimic Vat is unneeded I think. It's nice with the Slime, but it's more a "win more" card.
Wall of Tanglecord s are purely for defense early game, so I can destroy lands while my life remains intact. I had the parasites in but opted out for the Blades. After playtesting a few times I already have enough land destruction to keep my opponent under 2 lands at worst and no lands at best by turn 4. By turn 5 it's usually when I'll win, then it becomes long agonizing defeat for my opponent scrambling to keep lands on the field haha
I would lose the walls if I had more early game destruction, but sadly everything involving land destruction is 4CMC and up, which is a bummer. Hopefully with Dark Ascension we can get a little boost eh? :)

Yeah those blades are fun :)Hopefully Dark Ascension gives Land Destruction some better cards.Maybe adding some fogs would help with early game defense

Tis true about the Fog s. Hmmm, on the flip side they stop all damage, on the negative it's a 1 time use, whereas my Tanglecords are a permanent. Need some more opinions on the matter :/

what about Liquimetal Coating and then the cheaper artifact destruction cards like Crush

I'd keep the walls, they're better than Fog in the long run. Maybe Tunnel Ignus for burn? Punish them for losing lands, y'know.

@2austin5 I like that combo, however I'd prefer my deck to have as much synergy as possible. Liquimetal Coating is a dead card if I don't have Crush , and vice versa.
@ZServ Thanks for commenting on that! Walls it is! Tunnel Ignus seems decent, but more sideboard material as his effect mostly caters to mana ramp, in which a lot don't run now with most of the decks being White humans, zombies, spirit/tokens, and RDW, at least on Tapped Out.
@Geekachu Wow, can't believe I forgot about that xD What should I replace to have those in? Trepanation Blade ? card:Red Sun's Zenith ? Or other land destruction cards?
January 10, 2012 3:42 p.m.
I don't see the point of card:Red Sun's Zenith here, so I'd hose those. Also; you're gonna need more ramp in order to make a deck like this function well. I'd go for more boardwipes in a deck like this in favour of targeted removal. Slagstorm is a good choice. Add Rampant Growth and Viridian Emissary . I'd even go as far as to limit your creaturepool to 4x Llanowar Elves , 4x Viridian Emissary , and 3x Galvanoth . Possibly 4 of the latter, but I'm unsure.

Ooops, Rampant Growth was already there. But yeah. Rest of the comments are valid.

Also; your deck gets chewed up, spat out and sat on by any deck that runs Mana Leak .

Yah the Sun's were a bit random as I said, so I'll swap them for 3x Beast Within . I think my mana is fine, but if I were to get rid of a creature it would be Acidic Slime in favor of Viridian Emissary , which I have thought about. Suicide attack with Viridian Emissary and/or use Whipflare to get mana fast.
The problem with limiting the creatures to less then 3/3 creatures is board wipes. Sure Slagstorm kills everything, but it kills EVERYTHING, lol. How am I supposed to win when even my own creatures are dead. So Charmbreaker Devils are a must, not only for power, but to ensure I have continuous land destruction because if I run out and the opponent gets lands out, I'm done for with no defense.
Should I go split 50/50 with Slagstorm and Whipflare? As in 2x Whipflare and 2x Slagstorm ? Maybe take out a Blade for 3x Whipflare?

"Also; your deck gets chewed up, spat out and sat on by any deck that runs Mana Leak."
Every deck gets chewed up and spat out by Mana Leak or any other counter card really. One of the weaknesses of not running blue or having cheap cards with low mana (like Goblins or something) Not sure how to counter it except with card:Autumn's Veil, but that's Sideboard material at best.

Looks pretty good. I'd take out the trepanation blades and walls add some mimic vats and invader parasites.Check out my land destruction deck: Boom
