I feel like Favorable Winds would be fantastic in this deck as it would pump every last bird. A cool deck! +1

JimothyCrikkett - Thanks! Not sure how I missed that one. A worthy addition to consider. Thanks for the tip!

Very nice bird tribal. I feel swamping one Prismatic Strands for another Airborne Aid would be better as that helps you hit the cards you really need to power this out (Soulcatchers' Aerie specifically) plus with dumping your cheap little creatures on the board, getting that extra card advantage will help you survive a wrath and continue to out pace your opponent. +1

i would consider losing Warden of Evos Isle to complete the playsets of your sorceries.
1 mana bird, two mana bird, not much difference.

Schuesseled - My playgroup has banned Storm Crow because of it's power. No one likes playing agaist the most powerful bird ever... Insta-scoop. Add sadness to the Stack.
Warden of Evos Isle is actually pretty key I find.. When I can dump 3 Squadron Hawks into play at half the cost, it makes a big difference. When I first thought about adding it, I was iffy, but after playing Warden of Evos Isle the speed of the deck really took off (hehehe, that's a Flight pun).

I considering removing the remaining basic lands and adding 4x Seaside Citadel .
This would also allow me to run up to 4x Flurry of Wings , but I would need to remove something to make room. Maybe the remaining copies of Quiet Speculation ? Any suggestions?

Mac97, JimothyCrikkett, Ultimaodin,
Thanks for all your comments. I have made a few updates that I think will make the deck even better. What do you all think now?

I like this deck :D +1. I have a bird tribal deck as well. I didn't even know a couple of the cards in your deck existed lol.
Here's mine Time to Play Angry Birds

Frayace Thanks for the +1! I like your deck too. Which cards in mine had you not seen before? Any plans to add them?

Oh, and I almost forgot. I wish I could play Hunting Moa . It's a another really good green bird card. If only it had flying.

I have a friend who plays a deck similar to this, but his favorite beater is Pride of the Clouds

cschiller Thanks for the suggestion. Although Pride of the Clouds is undeniably good, and partially thematic with it's bird token generating ability, I really do want to keep the deck purely tribal. I'll likely have to build an EDH Bird deck and include it there.

+1 for bizarre tribal!
Favorable Winds fits in here, and Pride of the Clouds seems too good to leave out, even if you just use it for forecast.

Ender666666 I've never seen Soulcatchers' Aerie or either of your sorceries before, I think I'm gonna put Soulcatchers' Aerie in my deck because it fits so well :D

Frayace, Yes, the Soulcatchers' Aerie is so key. Combo it with Thrummingbird for maximum effect. :-D

Yeah it's a pity that Pride of the Clouds isn't a bird. Like seriously, elemental cat? That flies? And poops out birds? What is this, Simic?

Yeah. Pride of the Clouds has been suggested often, but I just can't put a non-bird in.... I just can't...

I rly like the splash to green. Just could imagine that 4 times Airborne Aid could be to much... you got a heavy amount of cards with scry to control your draws, just could imagine that to many draw-control slows the aggro down... Same for the whole lands coming into play tapped. But nvm, birds are always cool, +1 here :)

MagicMerlin I go back and forth on whether I should run four Airborne Aid or if I'd be better off with a fourth Flurry of Wings or Prismatic Strands . I may just add the fourth copies of cards into the sideboard, and substitute them in/out depending on the match up... Same for the third and fourth Judge's Familiar

I think a Flight could really improve the quality of this deck. :)
But on the serious side, very good deck. My teacher at school has a bird deck. I've yet to post a copy online for critiques but when I do, I could show you it.

Soraya the Falconer might be fun. Note that the Oracle text is 'birds', not 'falcons'. Fun looking little deck. +1

Ender666666 says... #25
PriestessKikyo1 Yeah, Soraya the Falconer would be fun, but again, as she's not a bird herself, I just can't bring myself to include her in this deck. I DO think I'll include her when I build out a Bird themed EDH deck though... Thanks for the +1

Can't say I have seen tribal birds often. That's clever. If your interested I think you would like building a Bant EDH with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician as the commander. +1 for cleverness.
