Filth Unending

Maybeboard

This is the more casual deck I like to pull out when playing at new tables and gauging group strength. I've foregone the more typical dimir control shell you see when playing Scarab God in favor of tribal with a strong mill theme. This deck has multiple win cons, whether you want to bash face with a horde of zombies or pull off a delicious infinite combo. The ability to toggle how hard this deck plays is really nice. Though it has considerably evolved, this was my first EDH deck and will always hold a special place in my collection.

Win Conditions: Mill a ton of your opponent's cards and reanimate the best stuff with Scarab God. It's possible, but unlikely, to mill someone out short of an infinite loop. Rather, the mill theme is for getting answers and scary creatures out of your opponents' grasps. You can also just go for sheer combat damage. There's a few ways to make your Zombies unblockable, namely Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth/Entomb/Filth. Once things get rolling, your zombie horde can be monstrously sized very quickly, both wide and tall with the multiple lords in the deck such as Death Baron. There are, of course, many infinite loops in this deck, most using Rooftop Storm. You can find an awesome primer on the combos, as well as a much more competitive flavor of this deck by vexenx here. My favorite way to win is Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank . BCA usually activates with a single pass around the table in a 4p game.

Once the machinery of the deck is in place, it's usually pretty easy to bounce back rapidly from most board wipes. Scarab God's tax-free nature (especially with a sac outlet) lets you jump back in pulling undead horrors from the yards. Enchantment hate poses issues, but most people I've played don't pack more than a few single-target enchantment removals, and you've got some redundancy in place. As per the course with black, there's a lot of pay life costs-- watch where you're at and recur Gray Merchant of Asphodel if needed (or kicked Rite of Replication it if you're just wanting to flat out win).

As mentioned, I've forgone a lot of the control shell in favor of a slower pace with more inevitability. Your opponents will have a hard time keeping creatures on the board, and the multiple sac outlets let you dodge exile effects and other targeted hate.
