Ah yes, Boggles

The way I see it, GW does an excellent job of boggles it has low cost evasive creatures available as well as some of the best auras ever made.

G/W Boggles runs really well off of this creature base;

• 4x Gladecover Scout
• 4x Slippery Bogle
• 4x Kor Spiritdancer

Other possibilities include:

• 2-3x Aura Gnarlid for more aggro
• 2-3x Auramancer for aura recursion
• 2-3x Heliod's Pilgrim to tutor some up

I suggest you up your count to 4x Path seeing as that's your only source of removal next to the Prison Terms.

I'd also up my counts on the one drop auras and lower the count on my higher cost auras to get the most out of the Spiritdancer and the Bogles

That's how I'd start to change up the deck myself without spending too much cash and without writing an essay in your comment thread.

thx for your comment. I know that Slippery Bogle should be a standard creature on these type of decks, on the other hand I wanted to have my personal flavour in it. That's why you find Stuff like Thrun, the Last Troll, Managorger Hydra and Outland Colossus. Nevertheless I think a fourth Path to Exile wouldn't be wrong, gonna check what I could sacrifice for it. Also the Aura Gnarlid seems to be a pretty fun fellow to me, gonna check that too :)

Yeah I thought so. Personal flavor is what makes piloting these decks fun. Not big on slippery myself but if I had a few dollars to add to the deck I'd consider Daybreak Coronet/Shield of the Oversoul but then more g/w creatures may need to be included and possibly a couple Keen Sense if the spiritdancers aren't netting you enough cards.

The only other creatures I may suggest in these colors is Silhana Ledgewalker Loxodon Smiter

Oh dear.. didn't know any of these 3 auras, now you just gave me some serious work to do :o At least Daybreak Coronet and Shield of the Oversoul are gonna make it into there. Thanks mate! (And check back in a couple of days or hours, would love to hear some of your feedback after redesign).

Yep! This is coming along nicely!!!! A few more suggestions and comments to add while you optimize the deck;

• Ethereal Armor

This potent 1-drop is a staple in any aura based deck and should be more than just considered its begging for a spot in here.

Just a cool point to note in the use of this aura you also get counters from your Oppressive Rays as they indeed are still auras you control.

Creatures seem well balanced now with the auras and this is really quite a nice looking deck but I would consider adding 2-3x Graceblade Artisan or the previously mentioned Aura Gnarlid as they both work great with auras and brings up your creature base to a more consistent 15 creatures while bringing your auras to a manageable 18-20.

I would also consider less land for this deck as the curve is low enough to manage a land count of 20 and it will net you a few more spots for your extra creatures without taking from your aura surplus while you sort out what ones you wish to keep MB and which ones go to your SB

Seeing as I mentioned Sideboard I'd consider shuffling a few of your auras into it so you can make room for those more powerful cards namely, your Oppressive Rays substitute for Ethereal Armor

Tossing these out too;

• Vines of Vastwood

Great pump spell with hexproof at instant speed

• Removed 1 Unflinching Courage and 1 Hyena Umbra, added 2 Ethereal Armor. Thought: With the amount of control played in MTGO, I'd like to keep some of the totem auras. Imho that's a big downside of Ethereal Armor. But hence I see the benefit of it, I'm gonna take it to my playtests.
• Removed 2 Forest, removed 1 Loxodon Smiter, added 3 Aura Gnarlid. Thought: just following your advice :D

And now, playtesting :D Gonna keep you posted in a couple of days how it worked out, or not :o Also this should give me a proper idea how to arrange the SB. Btw: would love to have the Vines of Vastwood in this deck, but atm I just dunno what to sacrifice for it.

Just curious what type of control are you facing up against right now?

I still have a couple more cards to offer as suggestions but they're on the expensive side

Usual stuff: Fairie Decks, Snapcaster Mage, Mana Leak, the whole variety of red burn spells, Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring. Nothing to fancy, but as it seems everyone is playing this stuff in MTGO :o (a.k.a toplist of mtgtop8 decks).And feel free to give some more costly advices, money is not my biggest concern.

Well here's the thing;

If it's counter spells you are dealing with Loxodon Smiter is going to be amazing for ya and I'd ditch off the Gnarlids.

Bounce ie Vapor Snag or spot removal/burn requires hexproof in the form of either instant speed protection spells:

• Vines of Vastwood (best in slot)
• Emerge Unscathed two protections for the price of one!
• Gods Willing because, scry keeps you informed

Consider also the option of sideboarding protection creatures like;

• Fiendslayer Paladin
• Kor Firewalker

Or discourage your opponents with creatures that get bigger or punish your opponents spot removal:

• Voice of Resurgence (heh)
• Fleecemane Lion
• Primordial Hydra

Any of these are great ideas that you ultimately may or may not like but this aura is also a possibility:

• Alpha Authority

Best cantrip ever happens to be in your colors as well;

• Dromoka's Command

you need a full set of Ethereal Armor, that card is nuts in this deck

Had four in before, see comments. But you're right, think I'm gonns remove 1 Daybreak Coronet and 1 Shield of the Oversoul (since Loxodon Smiter was moved to sideboard).

the coronets are also great, just remove all them shield.

Well, I'll keep that in mind, but Aura Gnarlid combined with Shield of the Oversoul seems to be a potent combo when games last a little longer than they should. Gonna playtest a little before deciding :)

Hyena Umbra can be pretty awesome too. You will notice an efficiency difference when you keep the auras down to max 2 cmc trying to keep average cmc to a maximum of 2 for peak performance

Siding Path to Exile is a popular tactic as well

Although not a necessity by any means, Eidolon of Countless Battles works like an Ethereal Armor on steroids (I use em).

I decided to ditch the heroic on my deck and make it straight up W/U bogles check it out on my deck page if you wish!

Yeah, I know, fiddled around meanwhile with the creatures (from 14 to 11) and seeked further Input on mtgtop8. Went with some more Rancors and Keen Senses for more drawing power. So far I'm now happy with it, but yet unsure about the manabase. Games will tell..Ty for your feedbacks btw :)

I just saw the paths lol so, that's awesome and you have a flex spot now to run Vines of Vastwood mainboard!!!

I'd reconsider some of your SB cards as well to counteract some of the more nasty cards that are at the other colors disposal instead of what you currently have.

Some cards that are our enemies and we never want to see as boggle players are:

• Ratchet Bomb
• Chalice of the Void (scary)
• Liliana of the Veil

There are plenty things to worry about as a Bogle player but I feel like you're SBing for the wrong things unless you are experiencing something different. But I would say your main list is really getting strong
