I like Armadillo Cloak more because I can enchant their creature for more life kind of like how I'd choose Spirit Loop or Spirit Link over Lifelink

And another note on oblivion ring just in case you are considering it. I feel Prison Term is more interactive because it allows you to move the enchantment. But Oppressive Rays is a sexy choice actually

For trampling purposes I'll go with rancor, usually if Spirit Mantle is on the board, there's no need for trample anymore and hence now I'm now on a 2cmc deck, I'll stick with it. Prison Term fell off a year ago, see the first comments of you @Doku, lol ;)

Considering the SB topic: you sure are right, these are just cards who where in there and i couln't let go completly. Regarding your named threats: yeah, these would be my doom :o So suggestions for alternatives are welcome.

Yeah! That's looking well rounded now! Only thing I am wondering now is how much do you favor basara tower archers on your SB?.

I know reach is fantastic but, i feel like if you were to drop those and re-arrange your auras so that you have more Spider Umbra you should be able to have the reach mechanic well in hand by the time you deal lethal damage.

Now, if you were to do that it would clear up the three spots you would need to include Leyline of Sanctity to stop the self sacrifice boggles usually suffers from due to the lack of creatures you have on the field at anytime (or in your hand) because we only need one or two and normally will only draw that much anyhow.

Replenish and Retether are fantastic recursion for your lost auras so that's something to consider as well.

Soft locks can be created as well using Pariah with your Spirit Mantles only exception would be burn strategies at which point my other soft lock suggestion of Worship comes into play. Sure, that's pricey but well worth the thought of inclusion.

In the end, even though all your ideas are great some may trump others in the final draft of your deck so at this point plates ting is about all you can do to assure your strategies that are employed are good enough to keep around

Some food for thought or something good to consider might be the removal of your SB removal (lol) if you have 4x Path @ 1 cmc why would you consider using Beast Within @ 3 cmc on your SB it could free you up some spots for more cards instead of just doubling up on the removal?

Modern is a turn 4 format that highly favors exile over removal because of the abundance of 1-3 cmc counter and recursion making exile that much more favorable

My head begins to ache, so much Input :D

At this point i simply don't know how to rearrange my mainboard more, I feel like it's on spot (I don't play competitive, just with friends and on mtgo). Considering my friends decks, there are some heavy flyer oriented ones. At this point I would substitue for example the Bogle with the Archers.

Leyline is a nice card to consider, check back later to see if it made it into the SB :p

Replenish and Retheter are nice too, but I feel with the redundance of many auras there would be better cards regarding that i don't want to have a 70cards deck (for example leyline, see, almost in already :o)

beast within is kinda simple: destroy permanent vs. destroy creature, for example chalice you mentioned earlier ;)

@tschiller

I like the list man! In the end bogles wants to force non-interaction (just shut-up, sit down, and f*cking take it!) and this does that nicely!

If you're just playing against friends then in the end a hyper competitive Bogle brew will just end up irritating them (I get the biggest kick out of that! Which is why I play it!) And I just wanted to add as many possibilities to the wide plethora of available card candidates that this deck type actually has!

In the end, great job dude +1 your friends should have fun trying to knock this deck out

The only decks beating this are $1k plus decklists and at that point who cares? A Ferrari in a deck box wrecks almost everything and I'm just not willing to amp up to that level I just want to play the cards I like which I'm sure is your focus as well

tschiller says... #15

Sure it is, we are all grown up men with some budget, but no intrests in ferraris, well described by you :D thx alot, and now stay away from my decks or I'll have to stretch my budget again :p

This deck is cool, +1. Have you considered Gryff's Boon? It gives evasion in the form of flying and can be brought back from the Graveyard.

Hi mate, thanks for the upvote and yes, considered it, but went along with Keen Sense. 8 out of 10 games I draw Spirit Mantle anyway, so I decided to go with dome more draw mechanics instead of evasion :)

March 2, 2017 5:15 p.m.

I would definitely play 4 of each Umbra, cutting Oppressive Rays and a Spirit Mantle. The Umbras are just necessary in case your opponent plays a sweeper or has a creature large enough to trade with yours.

I would also put in another Rancor for Keen Sense. You are almost always going to be the beatdown deck, so it is better to push damage and trample over blockers than draw extra cards. The Spiritdancers are probably enough draw, but I would still keep in a Keen Sense.

For the land base, I would cut a forest and a Sunpetal Grove for 2 Wooded Foothills, because you need double white too often to run multiple forests and the foothills can get your Temple Gardens. With the extra fetches, running a Dryad Arbor seems like a good idea because you can fetch it in response to an opponent activating Liliana of the Veil or if you just need another creature.

Sideboard, Seal of Primordium is just a little bit better than Naturalize with Ethereal Armor. Otherwise, it looks good!

Have you considered Natural State in the sideboard over Naturalize? It's CMC is lower and destroys most of the relevant artifacts/enchantments in Modern.

Followed you suggestions mostly, except for the manabase, not willing to invest another 50 bucks ;)

Greater Auramancy is an often missed card in any enchantment deck.

March 5, 2017 5:42 p.m.

TiagoMourao says... #24

Nice deck! :)

I'd suggest some Rest in Peace (at least 2) for the sideboard, even though you have Retether, because they siply destroy many decks in the format.

Also, if you are not running more than 4 fetches, maybe look into some Suppression Fields for the sideboard. It is very annoying to play against when you are running a normal fetch land mana-base.

Cheers!

Hi guys, thanks for the inputs, but in this case I'll keep it as it is. It's usually over at turn 4 and I think these are just the right cards to achieve this goal. None of the suggestions you made are mapping to the biggest threats I faced so far (untargeted removals, counters, burn).
