Dragons are just awsome. Very awsome. So is this deck. However, you were looking for suggestions, so here are some. I playtested it against a midrange deck of mine, and it did loose games due to the massive amount of life pay from the lands, about 10 life on average. You only have three lands that enter untapped without lifepay, the three mutilavaults. Some good substitutions would be to take out 2-3 of each "shockland" and add in Rootbound Crag , Dragonskull Summit , and Woodland Cemetery . Shocklands have basic land types that allow these to come in untapped for free. Also, I would replace one or two of your planeswalkers with Domri Rade . He can draw you extra cards and provide removal to compliment the trio of dreadbores. Dragons for the win!

Thanks! I dropped a few of each shock and a few of each fetch so I can keep the balance of "basic" land types and the dual colored M13 lands. I'll experiment with Domri Rade to see what I should take out, right now I'm leaning towards dropping the Utvara Hellkite so I can keep the other walkers.

I didn't think of dropping Utvara Hellkite, but that is a good idea. Even with ramp cards he can take a while to get out. Also, I forgot to talk about Somberwald Sage . The ramping power of that card is amazing!

What to take out though? I'll test him in place of Arbor Elf

Blood stained mire and such are useless in this deck as there are no basic lands

Bloodstained mire can fetch Blood Crypt , Stomping Ground , and Overgrown Tomb , which have basic land types.

Not as good as Thundermaw Hellkite in almost every situation. Pro white isn't worth the extra guaranteed damage. Path to Exile can be an issue but with Asceticism and the sheer number of dragons this deck creates it isn't worth the extra turn of being alive they would get. I did consider him though.

I love your deck, I was thinking maybe splash a little blue for a Sarkhan Unbroken? You could swap out 1 Sarkhan Vol, I think Dragon Tempest will give you the haste you need in place of him. Sarkhan Unbroken allows you to use his -2 to get a dragon and finish off an opponent with Scourge of Valkas/Dragon Tempest. +1

I'm trying to stay Gruul so my combo is more consistent but I will try out the new Sarkhan and see what happens. Thanks for your support!

You should run 4x Dragon's Claw in the sideboard, should help you tremendously against burn, and you should win on some falvor bases.

I'll be playing with the numbers in the sideboard as I go to more tournaments this summer, I will definitely add more if Burn is popular at my LGS. Thank you for the suggestion!

I have been thinking about adding Dragon Tempest for a while, the only thing I could see replacing is my planeswalkers though. I will definitely be trying out different combinations with it in the mix. Also Domri Rade is in a very similar place to me, I see he's pretty central in your deck.

I'd try taking out two Terminates for the Dragon Tempests. Or maybe the Xenagos, the Reveler. Also, have you considered Abrupt Decay perhaps in the sideboard or replacing Terminate?

Xenagos may end up being the one who gets dropped. As for Abrupt Decay, I am running the Terminate instead because of costs. I'm still acquiring the last pieces of the deck and Terminate is a cheap replacement to run while I finish gathering a land base. I do appreciate your suggestion, Decays will be here one day.

You might want to add 2-3 basic lands as well, for effects like Path to Exile. Mv cut on Rootbound Crag, it is only fast when one shock land is in play.

Good point. I was eventually going to switch them for Bloodstained Mire anyway.

This deck is really cool! I've been looking for some inspiration for my own Master Dragonspeaker modern deck. I've also had some trouble with the 3CMC slot, Domri Rade can get some work done though. Hope to see an update from you soon.

Thank you! I just made an update about my last tournament and it talks about possible changes to the deck based on all of your suggestions.

I like Stormbreath Dragon over the Hellkite. Protection from white = Paths are useless, meaning the only targetted removal that can touch it is black. Personally, I think dragons are better under more of a control shell. All the focus on ramping in this deck leaves you open. You're better off playing a dragon on turn 6 or 7 that is protected by your control shell rather than a turn 3 dragon who gets wiped off the board immediately. Maybe you should remove the dragons with complex mana costs, keep the green for ramping and/or pump spells, and splash white for things like Boros Charm? Just tossing ideas around. Either way nice deck.
