No. Hellkite Overlord is my favorite creature. This deck is mainly for casual play with my group of friends anyway, I only said that I think it could be usable in competitive play. Besides, if I remove them for Iona and Griselbrand then it would be just like every other reanimator deck -.-

Looks really solid. A few play tests later and I'm pretty sold. If you wanted to try other reanimation targets, I'd suggest Griselbrand , Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Inkwell Leviathan . I really can't think of anything else. +1

I was actually trying to stay away from those cards for a few reasons. Hellkite Overlord is my all time favorite fatty and the original plan was to build a deck around him. Secondly, if I use any of those creatures it will be practically the same as most other reanimate decks. :L

I really do like it, but I'm not sure you need four Buried Alive . Maybe take it down to three and add an extra Cabal Therapy to help protect your win.

I'll have to play test around with that. Usually my main problem is having cards to pull my Hellkites out of the graveyard but not having the cards to put them in it. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

Huzzah! Onslaught fetches are being reprinted! Now I can actually run Polluted Delta without breaking my bank xD

So I see that you decided on Brainstorm over both Ponder and Preordain, and I just have one question for you, because personally I think the only thing that brainstorm has over preordain is that it's instant speed so you can do it during your opponents turn, so I'm just curious how often you end up doing that? If it's not that often I would like to cast my vote for preordain since it would let you make sure you don't draw additional discard if you already have Hellkite Overlord in your graveyard and let you search for a means to reanimate, or vice versa if you already have a reanimate but need to put Smaug into your graveyard.

The best new addition will be Collective Brutality. It does everythin a Reanimator deck needs. Discard, Removal and putting your fatty into your grave.
Overall it is quite solid under the circumstances you are playing.
