So...I've been playing Magic for only a few months, and I've come to the conclusion that I suck at building a deck. I suppose everyone has to start somewhere, but this red deck seems to be extremely random, and doesn't follow any particular theme. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on how to make it better, or maybe some cards I should remove to make it a more well-rounded deck. I think maybe my problem is too many varied cards with varying mana costs. I don't have too many multiples, and it seems most people do that.

Update (2-8-15): After taking advice from all you cool peeps, I've been slowly rebuilding this deck to be faster and more aggressive. It's still a huge work in progress mostly because I haven't had the money to buy singles, but it's slowly getting to be where I want it. Thanks for the tips!

Update (7-25-15): Still a work in progress. I know this deck is kind of all over the place, but I'm slowly getting more singles and multiples to whittle away all the junk cards. Slowly, but surely.

Update (6-6-2016): Finally have the deck exactly how I imagined it. Can't think of anything else I'd want to change. Thanks everyone so much for the advice and suggestions!
