Seahunter is far too expensive for what he does, so you can only imagine how useless Balefire Dragon is. The lens is unnecessary because fish is suppose to be aggro. Then there's Artificial Evolution and Aquitect's Will which just plain do nothing useful.

Agreed that the Lens is kind of redundant, but this isn't just a strict creature aggro deck. Burn accounts for at least half the damage, and the lens is a game ender combined with an "X" burn.

Aquitect's Will ensures the other player has an island for me to walk on. After that it's just a cheap card draw, which is nothing to sneeze at. Balefire Dragon is never actually paid for, they only show up when Artificial Evolution changes Seahunter to search for dragons in a pinch. So at most I only end up paying 4 for a 7.

If there are cards that do these jobs better for cheaper, feel free to let me know. Always looking to speed up, but much more interested in having fun than a surefire win.

If you're wanting to use a burn spell for X, try Kaervek's Torch .

The problem is that you should be winning the game before then as this is effectively legacy fish. Besides, if it's worth running at all, it's worth running as more than a singleton.

Aquitect's Will ensures the other player has an island for me to walk on.

You're playing in a format where well over half the decks run blue. You don't need to worry about making sure there's an island on your opponent's side of the field.

The problem with that is that Seahunter is also above what your mana curve by himself let alone throwing in 2 cards that do nothing but act as fragile combo pieces.
