I'd had it in originally, but I figure at that point of the game a hand with threats in it is not something I want my opponent to still be having. As far as things go, I'm trying to increase effectiveness in the 2-4 CMC range.

I'd thought about her, and still am. If she comes in she'll probably be replacing Wight of Precinct Six . In the last local tourney we played, I was very nearly swarmed to death until Cyclonic Rift came along, so I'm also trying to pack in a few more effects to clear the board or take less damage overall, hence cutting AEther Adept to test Black Sun's Zenith

Lots of rather meh cards like Black Cat .

I'm keeping this deck slightly budget, hence Black Sun's Zenith and Life's Finale over Damnation . As far as Black Cat goes, in my experience opponents are hesitant to attack me with it out early game, and if they don't block it I can swing into Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni later on.

what about Telemin Performance and maybe Bribery they can be OP in EDH!

A great artifact for either Mirko or Lazav is Trepanation Blade for a deck like mine when Lazav, Dimir Mastermind has Trepanation Blade and Aqueous Form on him he can be a fantastic way to sock someone with 21 commander almost out of the gates. The only problem with it is the sheer luck factor...

Also a cheap version of Mindleech Mass could be Psychic Intrusion still have to pay a colorless mana cost but its great if you say Unsummon their scariest defense then literally buy it out from under them.

I actually had it in the original build, and trust me, I love the old Trep Blade. It was actually in the first competitive deck I ever made. I took it out when I had less unblockables, but if I can keep mana open for it over the game I'll certainly think about adding it in.

I do really like Psychic Intrusion ! The only problem with it at the moment is that it's fighting with where I want my other 5-6 drops, as I've already taken a few out as it is to lower the CMC. Painful Quandary came out for Rhystic Study since that makes me less obvious of a threat to less seasoned players. However, If Seizan, Perverter of Truth doesn't pan out I could totall see the Intrusion being its replacement!

Another thing that worries me is that Black Sun's Zenith could in fact hit all of my creatures while keeping a heavier opponent's dudes alive. Still need to decide what to do about that.

I suppose I could replace with Devastation Tide

Though Black Sun DOES get shuffled back in...what does everyone else think here?

Also run Bad River rather than Terramorphic Expanse for the reason it could grab shocklands like Watery Grave
