cut Blood Artist and add Solemn Simulacrum . Blood artist just isn't crazy strong in commander. Sad bot is a much better choice.

Get rid of Zodiac Dragon, Its too expensive for an 8/8 that does nothing while its on the field. moonveil dragon might be a better and cheaper option

Kokusho, the Evening Star has been an MVP for one of the guys who runs it. It sucks because you either have to let it through and take 5, or block it/remove it, and the dude running it gains a ton of life.

favorite combo: Scion's ability twice, once, then again in response, targeting Moltensteel Dragon , paying life to pump Scion up to outrageous numbers before his second gravepull resolves, and the targeting Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and swinging for game.

Actually, coco-puffs was recently removed from the banned list. I think tappedout missed that. It's listed on the official Elder Dragon Highlander site.

While I'm happy that i can go cookoo for coco-puffs, i'm just sad they banned Griselbrand from all of EDH.

What's your budget?

I don't think the Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood combo is worth including. It isn't relevant in this deck, and you need to go out of your way to assemble it.

How competitive do you want this deck to be?

I don't really have a budget, I'm gonna acquire cards over time. And that combo is just fun, I play mainly casual with my friends, I don't go to Commander Gauntlets or tournaments, but I would still like the deck to be competitive.

I took out the Blood/Bond combo because I needed room for Explosive Vegetation and Cavern of Souls anyway lol

I would suggest to cut out Thunder Dragon since it has no effect if copied with your commander.

How about Bear Umbra ? Its great with the Scion since you can copy a dude, swing, and then have a ton of mana left for using the copied dude's abilities. It also combos with Hellkite Charger .

Also, you might consider Steel Hellkite . You can surprise an opponent by swinging at them and turning Scion into Steel Hellkite to blow up their junk.
