@JA14732 : How many non-competitive decks use blood moon and hellreaver and those other cards you mentioned? Let's have some fun with this and not worry about whether or not it will win every single freaking time.
@asasinater13 : why didn't I think of that? :D Better than the Chord, only you can't convoke it.

I am in love with genesis wave as a card, I used to have a deck that was basically ramp, Primeval Titan
, Elderscale Wurm
, and Spearbreaker Behemoth
with Primal Surge
and Genesis Wave
each as one ofs. I loved it.
on this deck, as long as genesis wave can get to x=5 it just gets lots of value, hitting x=8 makes it absurd, and x=10 plays the top 10 cards of your library without asking any questions except for permanent or no, I think lacking convoke it's still worth playing over/with chord, you've got 38 lands and 3 mana rocks so getting to the 11/13 mana shouldn't be too hard.
with 12 walkers, any consideration to Chain Veil or just not worth it? it does potentially go infinite turns with Ral Zarek , Garruk Wildspeaker , and a bit enough Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx . Generally infinite-turns in fun commander takes away fun, but I feel like the four-card (plus devotion, one of the spirit avatars with etiher green blue or red all do it for you) really janky combo that you won't be tutoring for isn't going to make anyone hate you.

Just found another possible cheat for you all! Maelstrom Nexus , that way you can cast two gods at once! :)

My god, don't know why everyone's so up in arms about me pointing out an easily fixable weakness in his deck. I'll give up, but seriously. I'm just trying to help, since in my playcircle nonbasic hate in Monored decks is guaranteed, and Helldozer sees play in many, many decks. So don't hate me.

JA14732, ElendVenture has already said several times that he isn't concerned about it. Don't take it as a personal attack, just accept that and move on. He is playing in different circles.

Just an idea Maelstrom Wanderer so you can give yourself haste. Plus with the high cost you will get more stuff on the board works really well with Primal Surge . But i do like how this deck is shaping up. If you havent already and would like to check out Gods for fun??? its my version of a Gods deck. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I don't even have to explain why you need Jace, the Mind Sculptor

Traps_and_Spells: I will certainly consider it when I finally get my hands on the card. But I don't see that happening for quite some time. :p
Jeggard: I'll definitely give it a shot once I eventually get back stateside.
Quicksilver: That is an option I could see myself going with. I will playtest it when I make it back stateside.
Jaxis: Thank you for the list of cards to cheat things into play, I will certainly be making some changes to my deck when I get back stateside. :D
asasinater13: I will certainly consider the Chain Veil. Garruk and Ral are the two planeswalkers in this deck that I see the most of for some reason.

Really like the deck you've got here. I tried to run Pantheon in a local EDH circle a couple months ago, but I wasn't running enough things to turn on the gods so I ended up dying a lot. I might proxy this deck out soon just to see how well it does. I don't know if anyone has suggested it yet, but I'd consider running Maelstrom Archangel as a way to cheat things in and help activate your gods

Very Good! I wanted to do this but use the False God as the Commander.
August 14, 2014 9:51 p.m.
I'm going to put a version of this together to test. I still don't agree with Progenitus as the commander, but this idea is too interesting to pass up on.
August 14, 2014 10:39 p.m.
@adventfaith I think too many people run Disenchant for the luls for that to produce any.
August 19, 2014 10:26 a.m.
I could make a deck that had 64 different things that hate artifacts/enchantments and 36 plains. Really want to try that combo? :D

And for lolz, Isamaru, Hound of Konda would be my commander.

Spirit of Resistance
and Grinning Totem
would both work here. I run Muse Vessel
in my 5 color deck also but its nowhere near the threat of the first 2.

Tainted Pact is a fun card in 5-color edh. Not the best, but the most fun imo

A pretty decent way to cheat creatures in is Elvish Piper . Like the deck +1 from me.

You might want to try the Nephilim cycle: Dune-Brood Nephilim, Glint-Eye Nephilim, Ink-Treader Nephilim, Witch-Maw Nephilim, Yore-Tiller Nephilim. I also think some wraths could be nice, since all the gods are indestructible, and planeswalkers aren't creatures anyway.

An amazing deck, my first edh deck was a progeni proliferate deck but it got dismantled because it was too vicious, I'm looking to making a similar deck to this.
Personally I would remove Demigod of Revenge for Cromat, Child of Alara or Maelstrom Archangel that way you still get a lot of devotion (admittedly it's broader and shallower than the demigod) and you get to have usable abilities other than an ability that is useless in edh.

Meh, people don't really like playing against 5-color commanders because having access to every color invalidates a lot of other possibilities. It's pretty cool, but I'm not sure that it would be super competitive. Oh well, EDH is for fun in the end so what does it matter?

nykthos actually works really well with any of those spirit avatars, nykthos+ avatar lets you get 5 of either color plus whatever else is on the battlefield. I think chord and/or Genesis Wave would be interesting
