You're running my Proteus Staff combo? Jeez, man.
Also, if you're going to do that, Enter the Infinite
and Omniscience
should be going on top.

Also, your only storm card is Scattershot, and that's mediocre at best. I suggest Temporal Fissure or Grapeshot, and that's only if you really want to push storm. Personally, I don't think it fits all too well.
Also, you are never going to buy a Capture of Jingzhou. The card is $500, Jake.

It is non-budget sir. I chose Scattershot above the rest because it is instant speed. I like having just one storm card because it is kool. I don't need those two enchantments to win off of Proteus Staff so they are just win more.

besides Proteus Staff makes a lot of sense with Narset, Enlightened Master and it is in practically every deck of her.

First let me say +1 for epic deck name. Narset is a very good general that I thought about building around till I saw Anafenza, the Foremost but thats not the point lol. When I was looking into building a deck for Narset counterspells didn't really come to mind because they are mostly useless if hit by her. Note that these are just suggestions but i would remove all of the direct counterspells then add some of these cards. Psychotic Fury , Rogue's Passage , Mass Calcify (super awesome if you are the only person playing white), also your running burn so the classic Lava Axe won't hurt, also Narset can drop planeswalkers so if you have one or can afford it Jace, the Mind Sculptor would be epic because he can set up Narset with his 0 ability. I can realize you might not be able to obtain him some other good planeswalkers are the new Jace, the Living Guildpact remove blockers, a weaker set up for Narset then his last abilty can basically be a win con depending on the game, Chandra, Pyromaster can stop some huge blockers, remove cards from you library is you want to cast them without narset, or copy the bad ass burn spell ten times or time walks, Ajani, Caller of the Pride , Ajani Steadfast both can boost your general. Elspeth, Sun's Champion helps set up chump blocks for more aggressive creature decks and can boost narset and give her flying. Elspeth, Knight-Errant make chump blockers and make narset indestructible. lastly you could add Electrolyze deal damage and draw cards, Ponder set up narset and draw, Preordain same as Ponder also more unblockable cards so narset does not die during combat Distortion Strike , Artful Dodge can be used twice and Teleportal . Finally I think Quicken would be awesome because you can draw and possibly use that awesome sorcery you need right now during combat. I hope I could help out and have fun Narset looks like an awesome general.

Brainstorm would be perfect in here as it would let you put spells from your hand back on top of your library to cast for free with Narset.

thanks for the suggestions. I am re-thinking adding in planeswalkers and Brainstorm deserves a try. I'm really commited to relying on all the advantage being gained through narset, meaning there is not much point in drawing cards . I also want everything to be castable at instant speed without relying on cards like Leyline of Anticipation . the problem though with cards like Ponder and Brainstorm is that why draw them when I can just draw the card I would be digging for. they aren't that great when exiled by narset either. you are correct about the counters TheWaltSpot the problem is that I still need to protect narset while I'm trying to cast here. Counterflux and Last Word probably don't need to be there, I'll probably take them out for more burn.

Thanks for the comment on my Narset deck! I definitely like the direction of your deck and it definitely gives a different idea of how Narset could pummel you, ha ha. It definitely looks like it would wreck in one on one, I know she's not out yet but I'd be interested to hear how she plays against multiple players!

I know that creatures are really dead if hit by narset but one creature that i feel would be pretty damn great in a deck like this is Talrand, Sky Summoner . With all the instants and sorceries being hit by narset you will easily have a veritable army of flying bears and the likelihood of him being hit by narsets ability is extremely small. Maybe even some more storm cards if there is room in the deck as storm is exceptionally easy to activate in this deck type. +1 from me. c:

Sorry I don't think Talrand, Sky Summoner fits :( And I don't want to draw cards, I want to leave them on top of my deck for narset's ability.

If you would put in a Scroll Rack you could use card draw to your advantage, thats my plan at least. I also feel like Generator Servant is a must because if he is in your opening hand it could help you drop Narset even faster.

wow, I just playtested this and literally used half of the library turn 4, high potential to kill all opponents quick. I definitely underestimated Narset! looks like a lot of fun to play +1
